In the noisy digital world, data is what really matters. 

Every day a new or existing vendor releases a new pixel/marketing tags (short snippet of code that collects information about a website visitors and their behavior on the site)  to help analysts, digital marketers, and developers collect more data.

The painful problem is that each one of these tags (e.g. Hotjar, Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Linkedin Pixel, Doubleclick Floodlights, and others), generally need to be manually deployed on the website, and typically require some level of Javascript knowledge to be implemented.

Hence, it's pretty much mandatory to team up with development teams every single time a new tag needs to be deployed. 

On top of that, there's always a consistent effort required to configure and manage all these different pixels and tags, and it's hard to have those communicate with each other.

This course is about the solution to the above issues, Google Tag Manager. The course covers the inside outs of Google Tag Manager

Excellent info. Definitely helped me to understand the basics of GTM. The course just feels a bit outdated. GA4 has changed a lot of things.

After watching Alessandro's Google Tag Manager course, my knowledge skyrocketed immensely. I needed to take a GTM course for my actual job role, where we use google analytics and tag manager on a daily basis for dealing with our many e-commerce stores. I must say this is one of the best GTM courses out there, and I highly recommend it to beginners who want to quickly jump on learning GTM. At the end of the course you will have all the knowledge needed to get you started at industry standard. The teacher takes his time in explaining the concepts and his English is super clear.

Good, but could have been way more. A section on tracking Google Ad conversions, a section on tracking across multiple landing pages, and a section on more advanced tracking using timer triggers or comparing page view trigger vs window load trigger, would have really taken this next level. But excellent beginner level stuff.

It was a bit difficult to understand the lecturer at first, but I got used to his accent. The material is extremely in-depth and informative. It naturally progresses from the basics to more advanced topics.

This course is perfect to show you the basic indipendently by your technical skills. GTM can be quite challenging if you don't understand the basic concepts: tags, triggers, variables and how them work togheter. I've lots of experience but was quite struggling to master them until i found this cource. This course does not cover Youtube videos but thanks to the chapter where he explain the debugging of GTM's tags then i was able to figure it out myself how to fix the problem i had with the youtube's video tracking. I hope the author will do another course (or just add another chapter) on how to use the data gathered via GTM as events into google analytics to create dashboards for tracking conversions rates.

This course will be the only one you need to learn Google Tag Manager and how to integrate it with Google Analytics. It's extremely thorough and completely up to date with the current GTM and GA interfaces as of July 2018. If the instructor decides to expand the course he may want to give in-depth instructions on setting up GTM for specific use cases like: with WordPress & WooCommerce, with Facebook pixel events, with AdWords Conversion & Remarketing tags, plus Bing Universal Event Tracking - tracking dynamic ecommerce values.

The class is good. Starts with basic information first and builds it up to more hard parts of the GTM. Only thing is that the last part is about video and HTML5 implantation so if you do not use this its a part to skip. Maybe it would be better to show more about e-commerce website and enhanced tracking to get more revenue. Maybe a next video with explanations of Google Analytics with the GTM would be great where you make more use of analyzing with GTM and GA! Great course if you want to know basics on a normal website! Alessandro also sends private messages to understand what I was thinking so I hope that the course will have e-commerce parts in it soon.
