It was a good overview for someone who has not had any exposure to what Google Analytics could do. It definitely is most beneficial to be able to follow along with your own Company's Google Analytics site. The course layout was good and the instructor did a great job!

The course was outlined and presented very well. Despite it being 3 years old, screens mostly matched current Google Analytics and it was easy to find the same screens in my own account. I appreciated the flow and arc of the course, by first grounding me in what can make Google Analytics difficult and confusing, explaining terms, then starting to dive into the various reports. Although I had a good basic knowledge of Google Analytics already, I found this to be extremely valuable and useful as a marketing professional, and I'd definitely recommend it as a beginner course to anyone who is just starting to learn about how to use analytics.

This course has highly useful information. I took off half a point because there is some repetitive stuff and it takes awhile for the instructor to get rolling - I didn't think we needed such a long introduction before getting in depth.

It would be helpful to provide an actual example of a website that we could actively look at an analyze. Especially if you are just starting out or designing a website and do not have access to the website's data

It was a decent very high level overview targeting people with little/no analytical skills whatever. I was probably not therefore the target audience. For me it was too simplistic and quite superficial. The tone/style of the teacher was also a little offputing - it was very salesy and scripted. It felt like a promotional video rather than a lecture series. Nonetheless, a solid overview.

Nicely explains all the different reports and overview level information. Then gets into the capabilities of GA and how you can leverage it for your business.

One of the problems with things like Google Analytics is that, starting out, you don't know enough to ask the right questions to find out what you need to know. Matt demystifies Analytics in a way that is easy to follow and immediately usable. For a business person such as myself, it gives a good foundation to get started with analytics and enough understanding to ask the right questions to go deeper.
