I’m Brandon Donnelson and I’ve been working on GWT a while since somewhere around 2008. I enjoy helping make development easier. So the other day someone said they wanted to see more getting started video content so I started out with this course.
This course covers the basic GWT application development by video example. It starts out with Eclipse GWT application creating and debugging. Then moves into UI component creation, event handling and ajax calls. And finishes off with providing css styling and images for the UI.
If you’re new to GWT, I think this would help build up quick terminology and context around building an application using GWT.

A good intro to GWT. Brandon has explicitly mentioned what you'll get out of this course in the Description which is good enough for someone who is starting out.

GWT을 사용하는 동영상 튜토리얼을 찾기 힘들었는데, 초반 개념을 잡는데 도움이 되었습니다.
GWT를 다루는데 필요한 개념들은 빠짐 없이 설명하고 있다고 생각합니다만, 예제가 부족한 것 같습니다. 나중에 상세히 다루겠습니다라고 하고 이번 강의 안에서는 다루지 않고 있습니다.

Generally recommend - good lector, all examples are works.
But:
- small update needet with lastet version GWT (f.e. jetty)
- it is good idea to add some small exercieses
- and to the end of this tutorial I think, that I write a small sample application.

As this is the only course on GWT i have no other way than erolling and completing this course
The instructor is of course knowledgeable. my comments are
1. This course is just focussed on how to get things done on eclipse.
2. no explanations
3. some sessions, code is written but output of the code is not shown
Wouldnt recommend this course to a beginner as this course just focusses on how to do and not on why we are doing that.

Video quality is not good. And topics included are very less for GWT. Sometimes bank screen comes. sounds of keyboard causes problem and is annoying. And Tutor is not explaining the logic behind the code. He just simply writes the code and executes it. Its not a good tutorial.

Pros:
Good examples
I consider the instructor have good knowledge about the topics, He has to learn to transmit
Cons:
The videos are poorly edited, sound is not clear, the instructor to make mistakes when trying to explain some topics, the topic about downloading and installing eclipse IDE is too much long, I consider only the eclipse configuration should be part of the course.

It says its for beginners but even with beginners cannot spend one module to teach how to work with Eclipse.
The instructor goes so fast, is not complitly clear in his explanations and for a student who was always on MVC this tutorial only is confused.
The best way to learn is making an application and the instructor just explained the concepts in general terms, was never focused in building an useful basic application with GWT.
Complitly dissapoint with this course!!
