Why take this course?

Who is this course for?

You will learn Fuzzy Logic with Matlab programming toolbox in this course in a very simple, and easy to understand method. If you are ready to be a capable engineer and manager and be able to solve complex problems efficiently, then this course is for you. As an engineer with knowledge of Fuzzy Logic, you would be among the few who can identify and break down complex problems that are not solvable using conventional control engineering techniques.

Do I need to know Matlab programming for taking this course? Will I learn Programming in this course?

All you need to know to start this course is high school level math. In this course, I will explain Matlab programming commands that we will use in this course from scratch and if you know nothing about Matlab programming or programming at all you will not miss a thing. In addition, I will teach Fuzzy Logic through Matlab Graphic User Interface (GUI) and Fuzzy Toolbox which does not require programming at all. At the end of this course, not only you have learned Matlab programming and but also learn most of the Fuzzy Logic commands and you can solve engineering projects without writing  any code.

Why Fuzzy Logic is so important ?

When the engineering problems is so difficult to solve, or the model or system changes so frequently, the conventional control methods fail and therefore, we have to use the Fuzzy Logic to be able to understand, model and control the world around us.

Is this course comprehensive? Will I need any other book or course to learn Fuzzy Logic?

I prepared this course over one year and have provided you with one of the best engineering and programming resources in the world about Fuzzy Logic. I have over 10 years of experience in control and Instrumentation fields and have used Fuzzy Logic in my career extensively and I will assure you that I have done all the complicated engineering projects in my career only using the knowledge collected in this course. I have also written two articles on the topic only using the logic I summarized in this course.

What you will learn?

At the end of this course, you will learn Fuzzy Logic programming with Matlab professionally. We will solve multiple engineering projects together, including one of the most sophisticated engineering projects in the field of the control (Designing a Fuzzy Controller for a Fluidized Catalytic Cracking unit). These project are excellent experiences for you to include on your resume and work portfolio.

It was a good course with good information but the audio was extremely inconsistent. It was fine for some videos but you could barely hear the instructor unless you turned the volume up for others.

Instructor keeps it simple, plain, and fast paced I had no trouble keeping up, I was using octave instead of Matlab. and I was using octave/matlab for the first time in my life as well. (occasional look up of functions was neccesary) The live digital ink is very nice, but perhaps a PDF output of the slides would be better., I am constantly taking screen shots and copying it to my digital notes. The lecture can be a bit better structured perhaps, The complementary PDF' could be united into a single PDF.. simple PDF print of the slides, with annotations where neccesary would be superb. real time coding along with real time editing/mistakes makes it hard to follow and a waste of my time... , a more structured/practiced edit would be better. I can't see the entire code so I need to rewind and watch again to see if I've missed a change. saving and uploading the code at significant break points would have saved me time to. I was frustrated trying to figure out where my code was different than the instructors.

I really liked the examples to get an idea of how Fuzzy works. The speed of explanation was very good too

Quite exciting and understandable, the explanation through real-life examples helps me understand the idea behind fuzzy logic better.

In the first slide 'Instaling MatLap' The audio quality was terrible, the speaker was not audible. Thus the course module captures my area of interest.

just amazed by how simple the instructor had made the concept look like. First class teaching. helped a lot in my project

It needs to go beyond fuzzy logic to see how to implement with artificial intelligence and get more into details

this is not what i expected i wanted to learn about advanced fuzzy uses as adaptive neuro fuzzy inference system and see how to use that in matlab examples why this course is so basic and slow at the beginning specially at the introduction it gets better in the middle and at the end but still not all what i hoped to have..

The fuzzy logic explanation and examples are good. We'll see how this course progresses, but I am engaged so far.

Valuable introduction to Fuzzy Logic control, Hossein does very good and understandable explanaitions. Few drawbacks as that somevideos are cut off, and it repeats the video of programming the tipping problem. Overall I would totally recommend the course as a great introduction to Fuzzy Logic controllers.

Lectures are repeated. And there is no video and audio in section 3 for about 20 mins. Most of the video, deals with only power point and coding, rather than using fuzzy controller toolbox in simulink.

The theoretical part on section 4,5 could be taught more interactive I felt a bit confused to understand those sections, else other sections are amazing.

I expected much more. Great teacher but in the end, he could have done more practical examples of the implementation of fuzzy logic (something regarding control engineering for example).
