This was a nice, straightforward explanation for first-time fundraisers. I found the simplified explanations ideal for quickly breaking it down to inexperienced parties. It would be beneficial to have an example video made of a sample pitch so others can have an idea of things such as tone, content, and body language that are useful to keep in mind or avoid. He verbally explained it, but people follow different methods of learning and it could only improve the course. I didn't enjoy the less informative videos from lecture 14 on. I agree reviews are important for growth and enrichment, however, I feel that can be asked more simply rather than drag on as long. For example, requesting reviews, offering the guarantee, and combining resources (TikTok, reading example) can be one video. Overall, good job!

This course focuses too much on the individual donors and doesn't provide much insight into how to get big corporates on board. But all in all, it left me with a good structure and set the foundation for my work. Thank you!

This is useful once you have some foundation in fundraising planning. For novices like myself, I would recommend starting with the course on fundraising planning then proceed to this course. The focus of this course is how to prep and interact with your donor.

I have only my limited personal experience in fundraising - specifically giving to organizations. With my new role as a National Director for a Youth Development Program for a Nonprofit (3rd sector) organization this gives me some concrete ideas and selling points to discuss with Donors and perspective donors.

the title does not adequately describe the course. It should be sub-titled "asking for money" or something to let the buyer know its a public speaking course.

I work for an online fundraiser company - these tips will be helpful when talking to organizations and helping them prepare their messaging plan. The fundraising space is trending towards more online peer-to-peer based fundraising. Would be great is some videos were dedicated to online fundraising.

I felt the course really didn't get started until Lecture 7, and with that it's about 35 minutes of lecture and that's it. I'm glad I only paid $10, because I think the information was worth $10, but shorter than I would have expected. Instructor was engaging and confident, but I definitely don't think it's enough for a full fundraising course or ensuring you will successfully execute a big fundraising campaign.
