Good basics for beginner but was not advanced enough for my project which is something like a crown gear with four sinewave cycles around the circumference at the end of a tube.

All good, but maybe too much same examples. Also, would be great to build examples based on some sketches, not just adjusting some primitives as it convenient. Anyway, thanks a lot.

20mins in...all i learned is that there are workbenches and a bunch of generic settings. these are far too abstract for the moment...i have idea what the x y, z axis in the bottom left corner is for...we have no object on which the usefulness of the settings would be demonstrated....no idea why i even need multiple perspectives. sitting on the edge to actually use something so i can remember what the setting is actually for

O Curso é muito interessante. Aprendi os fundamentos de modelagem. Já havia tentado aprender sozinho, porém nem se compara com a facilidade após as lições. Muito bom! The Course is very interesting. I learned the basics of modeling. I had already tried to learn on my own, but it doesn't compare to the ease after the lessons. Very good!

So far the content is good. It takes a little concentration away from the course when you have have to work your way through the accent of the instructor, but it is good training.

I was looking for an online Freecad course that had some certificate, and I found this course. The course is fine. I liked it however it can be improved as it is a bit repetitive. I enjoyed the middle and end of the course the most. I liked the idea of creating a project and printing sheets. However, it shouldn't be just one project, it should be more. It would be even more beneficial for those who want to learn if they had some kind of documentation to download, for example the projects to be developed and some kind of manual for them. Obviously I recommend the course to everyone who wants to learn more about Freecad. I enjoyed taking this course.

All narrative should be completely edited. Using a native speaker reduces distractions. Introductions should be limited, NOT encyclopedic. Structure is important to introduce--sprawl is not.

I've stopped at about 7%. Based on the few chapters I've done, it seems to me that the tutor does not know his way around the software. He spends quite a bit of time pointing to buttons and menus and reading aloud the labels, rather than explaining what they do. The course lacks structure and is nowhere as good as most resources available nowadays for free.

Good course overall, worth learning. The instructor explain main 3 workbenches in FreeCAD and he did it very well. There are few things that is sometimes a bit difficult is the accent of the instructor, his English is okay some people will find it difficult to understand. But that does NOT affect the course content. He do the same examples on different workbench you become familiarize with the tools. This is one course you could take to get started with FreeCAD.

The teacher does know a log about Freecad, but I miss the "why" in the story he tells. With other words, why are measures so important? The objects created are a little abstract at first. It tells the story about the things he did though. Wish to have learned more about the Spreadsheet and some moving objects would be a great addition to this course.

This freecad course gives a proper overview of most controls of sketcher, part workbench and part design workbench. There are some parts which are not that good. It doesn't properly explain the difference between part workbench and part design workbench (When to use which). It doesn't explain the importance of constraints in sketcher. It glances over any errors (Which might be because of freecad, but a proper explanation and alternatives would be welcome). It might be ok in a demo, but when you need a part, you need a solution.
