Description

Forensic accountants or auditors take a unique focus on performing their work. Typically, when a person with forensic experience is called in to examine financial records, it is due to suspicion of fraud, evaluation of assets, or even to track down fundamentally incorrect accounting – intentional or not.

As fraud continues to raise its head in business processes, forensic accountants are discovering new and unique ways to identify, examine, and support their hypotheses and investigative techniques. The work performed by a forensic specialist can be interesting and full of potential potholes if evidence isn’t examined according to proper protocols and standards.

In this course, we examine the many processes and roles of the forensic accountant. We discuss rules of evidence and the accountant’s potential need to testify in a court of law. Learners will come away with an in-depth understanding of the world of forensic accounting and the many ways in which it may differ from the typical accountant’s role.

I expected a bit more content, in other words, an introduction into HOW forensic accounting is done. In particular, because it is not categorized as an orientation for beginners what the topic is about - but rather, a course on intermediate level. In such short time (1.5 hours), I did obviously not expect any type of in-depth-training, but I did expect more than a theoretical and anecdotical description merely of WHAT forensic accountants are doing.

I found this course very disappointing. It is a very superficial description of forensic accounting.

Monothonius refhorics. It all could be presented with a little bit more effort and case scenarios, mimics, better videos etc. in one word "boring".

I am facing a situation that needs forensic involved. I am getting to understanding that there are things I considered not so important that are critical success factors to the case at hand

In Your Chapter TECHNIQUES, you indeed discuss Forensic Role? Not even the How-To-Do Technicality? In Your Chapter FORENSIC INVESTIGATION, you just discuss that Forensic Accountant will appear to court? Laugh, of course, we all know that, but you don't explain any How-To-Do and What to Investigate. That is MISLEADING! Had I known this, I won't buy your course. This is Not a Forensic Accounting Course that teaches How to Do things but just an INTRO LEVEL to what Forensic Accountant Jobmakers' Prospect will look alike. Can I get Refund, please?
