You have directly starting with main() function. Never told a deeper about it how it gonna start, call and calling other function. Next You are starting with state full and stateless widget. What is that????? Pretty confusing... I think this course should be tagged for advanced user for revision.

The SDK was a little out of order so I had to go look up some fixes externally(which seems strange for a beginner tutorial. But other than that everything is going greatly!

A real basic introduction, most concepts are not explained - which might be ok depending on what you are looking for. I would call this a tutorial, and not a beginners course. The biggest problem is that a bunch of the exercises don't work anymore, which i think is not acceptable. Would not recommend unless you get the course for free.

Course is strongly in need of an update. Most of the examples use outdated styles (such as deprecated button names and using the "new" keyword), all of which add bloated code and make it potentially more confusing to understand for a neophyte. While Flutter and Dart are known for rather frequent changes, they do announce these changes long in advance on their websites and via master/developer/beta branches. Additionally, other Udemy courses don't seem to have difficulty keeping relatively current (i.e. within a year of stable branch). Secondly, for a beginner's course, the instructor is short on explanations and seems to assume much more familiarity. The explanations are typically something like "notice that xyz....", but the instructor rarely says *why* that is happening: *why* is the key component of learning. Bottom line: Would much prefer that the course be updated to at least late 2021 or even 2022 styles for Dart and Flutter.

Things changed little bit. I installed fluter yesterday on Linux. Not IntelliJ was needed. I used Android Studio.

So far, my learning process has been quite productive. I have both repeated and diversified on the subject that I started in a simple sense before.

The course gives a good introduction to Flutter widgets. Some parts of the code shown are already deprecated, but that's ok, the most important for beginners is to understand the concept of each widget.

I do like this course and teacher. But to be honest you have to change your code SOOOOOO much it takes way too much time. I think also that youby doing this you learn better. BUT you should not have to do this so so so so much for a class you pay for.

Some of the questions needs to be update as Flutter can run anywhere and make many many applications other than just apps

A glimpse of the screen or thing we are trying to make, before starting to code can make it easier to visualize as to why we are using that code. For eg, when I am watching the BottomSheet, I am simply watching the code first without knowing what exactly I am trying to code. Also a bit of animations can make the course a lot more intersting.
