Usually, Paulo's tutorials are great, but this one unfortunately isn't. First: disabling null-safety - an absolute no-go in modern Flutter development. Second: strange jumps and correction by "Paulo from the future" - I know, it's a pain, but it would have been better to just record those parts correctly. It's too confusing! I completely dumped the whole project after 65% of the course because it was just too much. Third: no responsiveness - I was devastated. Responsiveness and mobile first is standard nowadays and not part of this tutorial, even though this was my reason to buy it. Fourth: the lectures are not in the correct order - I mean... seriously? Fifth: no good coding style says very_good_analysis - by default, I use very_good_analysis as my major linter because several companies use it and the marked issues become almost infinitely. Most often: unnecessary container. Sixth: sometimes no proper explanation why things are coded in a way - why? I don't understand that. It's so sad, especially since I usually really like how calm Paulo explains things. Seventh: little DRY - very often, I had the feeling that the code could have been optimized in this context. Eighth: background noise - I love children, but even if all the upper issues hadn't been, the lovely child in the background gave me trouble to concentrate. I believe, you did your best to filter the noise, but it was still too much for me to concentrate well. I am so sorry for this feedback, but maybe it would be best to delete this tutorial and upload a new one.

Pros. Very clear and well spoken, as someone with hearing troubles this is a rare tutorial where I am able to hear all spoken. cons. His code is out of date in many cases (understandable) and trying to follow some lesson is very hard as he is so fast. Little problems but they have caused me to restart the second tutorial app many times, thinking I am the problem.

Paulo mellowed down over the years into a very soothing and effective teacher. His courses are worthwhile. His dedication is amongst the top three I've seen. I am only at the beginning of the course, the portfolio app, and the reason why at this stage I remove one star is that to really blow me away, Paulo would've needed to employ a professional designer that would have resulted in something stunning that I'd want to show around. Incidentally, had Paulo invested in this way, he would've recoup with sales : people want to buy something that looks great. Udemy is lucky to have Paulo!

I really appreciate the keyboard shortcuts given by the instructor. It makes the overall dev experience much more enjoyable. Additionally, I love that I never have to use Javascript! :)

The course is good and somewhat easy to follow but it should be for people who already have a somewhat good understanding of the flutter and dart environment because I got lost a-lot of times because of how fast he moved or did not explain clearly certain things that he did. I found my self having to google a lot of things to really understand what was going on.

This is by far the best course of Flutter in any Online Platform. Paulo is no doubt the best and in this course he will teach a lot of things which are practical and will be useful for developing production ready apps

This class is like a math teacher solving algebra problems without explaining the rules of algebra or how it works. You basically watch him complete his example projects while he narrates exactly what he's typing with no explanation as to how any of the code he's writing works or explanation on how the different objects/classes work.

This is a godsend to have such a clear and concise guide to using VSCode with flutter. I have taken another course using the android studio and I like vsCode a million times better (at least at my level). Paulo is very complete in descriptions and easy to follow. You should know a little flutter/dart before starting as he won't explain the basics. But I don't know much and am finding it very easy to follow.
