This course will teach students advanced concepts and formulas in Microsoft Excel 2016. Students will learn functions such as SUMIF, AVERAGEIF, and COUNTIF, advanced lookup functions such as HLOOKUP and VLOOOKP and MATCH and INDEX, and complex logical and text functions. Additionally, students will experiment with auditing formulas and error checking, use the What-If Analysis tools, learn the options for worksheet and workbook protection, review advanced use of PivotTables and PowerPivot add-in, work with Macros, use form controls, and ensure data integrity in their worksheets and workbooks. Students will also learn about Excel's many collaboration features, as well as how to import and export data to and from their workbooks.

A good refresher - excellent, clear teaching in short snippets. I was looking for a practice test for the Microsoft Excel Expert Certification, and this was not timed or project based.

This was a very informative course. Very flexible to jump right to the topics you want to learn; do not need to follow the order as presented. Ed is a fantastic instructor; clear, funny, and great presentation delivery.

This instructor is really, really good. He explains everything very well. His lessons are a nice length. Easy to work through the training between other responsibilities at work. Love his teaching methods. Not too flashy, but obviously knows what he is talking about very well. I will be looking for more by this instructor.

Once I hit the Formula Auditing Section, I was learning so many helpful things! Getting to learn a little about macros and VBA was really interesting as well. I would suggest though that the transcript program be double checked, there were some horrible things written by the system that were not what Ed was saying.

It was easy. It would be useful if the training shows more examples about complex SUMIFS, COUNTIFS calculations and share the excel table before the training in which we can practice the same thing what the trainer shows us.

I did not realize what skills within Excel would be pre-requisite, so I am having to look up some of the commands and vocabulary (while pausing the video) to make sure I can follow. Maybe make it clearer when someone might qualify as advanced. Besides that, the videos are great and very easy to follow.

I am still having some trouble with the VLookup and HLookup and the rate and grade tables that are used in the course. How to set up these tables is not included in the course like Name Range was in SumIF course. Udemy support was able to assist me with this but I still cannot come up with the same output as the instructor. I will go back and look at this again when I finish the course. Other than that, this has been very helpful in helping me take Excel to the next level.

This was truly a well presented course, Ed's delivery was great and a lot is covered. The only thing I think is missing is practice exercises and solution files. Other than that the course is excellent and easy to follow.
