I enjoyed it, but I wish there were more solidity workshops involved. It would have been good to learn about all these things (Truffle, testnets, etc) and then tie them all together with an easy step-by-step workshop.

I originally gave a 4 star rating. And then I did some of their more current courses in Solidity. But, going back to this course to complete it; suddenly I realized how important it is to understand some older syntax and development in Solidity. After all, most contracts are written in older versions of Solidity. I updated my feedback to 5 stars now; because I can honestly say that this course taught me a whole lot about the traditional methods and reasons behind Solidity and even Web.js and other blockchain development.

Hi, Thanks Thomas, Ravinder & team for your this and other courses. I just cleared the exam. Although mos of the exam questions were different than what we saw in this course, but the concepts explained help me to steer through. Only thing that I missed in this course was, surprisingly, energy of Thomas was not as high as is in other courses. But, apart from it, all looks good. One suggestion: Looks like this course was recorded long back. Current exam questions are more tricky and do cause confusion during the exam. So, it would be good to update course questions accordingly.

course is very good. Instructors are very good. it is really worth learning from this this course and getting in depth understanding of Ethereum development and ecosystem. if they would have added more real world explanations and more exercises. I want to give 4.5 rating to this course but there is no option to select 4.5 stars. both the instructors are very sincere in their endeavor to impart training in a such a way that the trainee learn significantly within the scope of this course. well done instructors for designing the course to help all block chain developers and enthusiasts to prepare for the certification.

This course started out at a high level, discussing the Ethereum ecosystem and terminology. It then transitioned into the "guts" of creating smart contracts as well as using some of the tooling necessary to begin developing and testing your code. I thoroughly enjoyed the presenters' style and step-by-step lecture approach. I'm now looking forward to spending some time reviewing my lecture notes, working with the new tools I've installed, and then taking the exam. (One note for Udemy - I was prompted to create a review by the third or fourth lecture, very early in the course. At that point I felt that the course wasn't very technical - which turned out to be incorrect. I'd suggest asking for feedback much later in a course in order to get more accurate feedback)
