Excellent to watch and learn. Somehow I felt repetition is there like car scenes or fight scene instead they should have touched other angle of stories like comedy, horror, difference between long and short shots and when these are applicable. This is a review from a novice/ learner so don't take seriously.

I know we're supposed to skip around, but going from intro to complicated equipment and discussion about f stops is jarring for a beginner. Seems like Erick seems to wing it for the most part. Partly informative but not concise as I'd hoped.

it's pretty basic knowledge with a short telling and actually I seem to find equipment part a bit unnecessary, even for a beginner given the experience of the teacher, I'm here for the story telling and techniques part mostly so it's not a problem for me but as I said, no one needs this equipment information in 2021, at least not like this. But again, im only writing this because it asks how is your experience "so far", I'm here for your experience and I think it'll be a great purchase and opportunity.

yes, i think you have covered the common scenes necessary in film making.. but needs more improvement on where the lights should be placed and more detailed scenes that express emotions...

There was a lot of good information in this course, but it seemed very drawn out. About halfway through a new instructor, who I don't remember ever being introduced and is tall and lanky and never seems comfortable in his clothes, begins teaching, or sometimes just sitting there not contributing anything. Some of the lessons seem amateurish and like they were put together at the last minute, and many were repeated listed ad different techniques. It seems that each lesson begins with the two instructors sitting in different positions to one another and wearing different clothes that either give great contrast to the black background or make them look like floating heads. The instructor emphasizes the importance of audio in creating a video, but toward the end, the audio of them describing filming techniques can barely be heard. They should follow their own advice!
