Yes, empathy is a new emotion for me to include as a leader, on a vertical level it is necessary on a peer to peer level but i am now understanding it on a diagonal level.

Very good course. I learned a lot. Pros: 1) Concepts are presented concisely and logically. 2) Audio volume is consistent. 3) Video animations are not too distracting. 4) Instructor thoughtfullly informed learners about his accent and speaking pace so that they can make adjustments in how they will view the content. 5) Lightbulb Moments resource cards summarize the key points succinctly. Cons: 1) Wish there were more examples, especially in a workplace setting. 2) Free book on emotional intelligence needs sign-up.

This course has taught me so much about empathy and how to actively use it in my life. I was really impressed by the instructor's ability to explain concepts in a way that was easy to understand and the practical activities throughout the course have been a big help.
