Chest X-Ray is the most widely practiced imaging procedure and knowing how to read it is a basic skill for every medical student or practitioner.
Whatever your specialty - as an FY1, FY2 or Specialist Registrar - this one-day course will help you with accurate CXR interpretation in the Emergency department.
The teaching format is based on short lectures, interactive tutorials and the opportunity for you to analyse sets of images accessed via your own computer.

We will start with a quick anatomical review of which structures we see on a CXR.
Then we will start learning to assess CXR in detail following the mnemonic "ABCDEFGHI":
