Hi! My dream is to be able to produce music that strengthen people and that make them happy. It is also telling stories and messages through music. You could sum it up by saying my mission is to be able to spread love across the globe as a career. YOU, Tomas, but also all of you who run these courses, (Ian, Christopher etc) have helped me to get going. And things are about to change for the better. Your courses are fantastic, as you explain golden nuggets in an easy, relaxed and funny way, that at the same time never cut down on, or filters, the professionalism . It's obvious you are highly professionals with a passion for music and music production, that on top of that got a brilliant way of sharing it with others. I'm so happy and pleased with your courses and I will continue to embrace your content and knowledge. I wish all of you all the best. You've gotten yourselves a swedish friend here. Best regards, Oskar Elmsjö/ gakij

Very thorough. I was getting nowhere by trying to learn music theory from random YT videos. So I decided to finally take a detailed course. That was a good choice, and you will make the same good choice by choosing this course. Thank you, Thomas George.

Very good lecture with solid knowledge. The author just sometimes does not explain the things he already know. For instance, in the beginning when the formula TTSTTTS was introduced the author did not explain what the letters stand for. The author showed it though on the piano. Felt like there is an assumption that you already know some basics. I can imagine how a total new bee would struggle with a slight lack of explanation. I liked the lecture overall. Good attitude and serve.

Definitions of music terms seem a but broad/vague, but hopefully because they are either just that simple, or will be focused on in more detail later in the course.

I feel I learned a lot that also explained stuff I had picked up over the years. Watching and listening as someone else is doing composition also is helpful for me, with the way I learn, so was really useful for me.

The definitions were extremely cavalier. I actually looked each word up to find a more concise definition. The data seems to be arbitrary at best.

So far I feel like I'm feeling more comfortable with the terminology and how to use it actually to write a song. I've seen music theory videos where they explain what an octave IS, but I'm often left asking myself "ok, I know what an Octave IS, what do I do with it?" This did an excellent job of teaching me how I can start making rhythms with Octaves.

I have only started this course. It is so easy to follow, even for a non-native speaker of English like me. I have only very basic knowledge of chords and would often give up halfway through writing a song. This course has motivated to keep going and taught me that if you learn step by step with patience you can learn a lot more. I would definitely recommend this amazing course to anyone who is interested in making their own music. Massive thank you to the creators!

No, not for the beginner. First of all, Serum is not included in the Ableton Live 11 which makes it hard to follow what Tomas is doing unless the student is at an advanced level. Secondly, it sounded a bit messy. He could have simplified it a bit more for a beginner like me. I find it hard to catch up with the tutor.
