This is very good for an absolute beginner, however it is outdated, I'd love to see this course on a newer of adobe dreamweaver.

this video explains features that are from an earlier version of adobe dreamweaver perhaps the version of dreamweaver before adobe transitioned into the creative cloud. the first lesson that explains how to access your local and remote files under the files tab does not pertain to the version of dreamweaver that i have installed with the creative cloud. it'll be fine if there was a way to access the same version the instructor is using to follow along. At the moment while i follow along i have to side research what the instructor teaches to the same version that i have installed. It's just a little tedious and discouraging because i really need to learn this software.

The Dreamweaver version used is a bit out of date. I find myself having to do extra searching on google to figure out the lessons

In its heyday this was probably top-notch, unfortunately as the course is using a version of Dreamweaver that is several years out of date, following along with the instructor can be quite difficult. Even worse, there are probably a multitude of new feature upgrades that are not mentioned or listed. Great for filling in some of the basics and historical development, very limited as to Adobe Dreamweaver’s capabilities in 2021. It is a shame as the instructor was great, the course well presented and thought through. It just needs modernisation to our times.

I have built a couple of websites and messed around in Dreamweaver for a few years. I struggled. This coarse has taught me to let Dreamweaver do automatically some of the things I tried to do on my own and getting lost in the coding.

Needs to be updated using Dreamweaver 21. Author is concise, and speaks clearly about features that have changed or no longer exist. I downed loaded the course files, placed the correctly and then tried to follow along for a while but found it difficult as apparently so many things have changed since he made this video. “Now press this little button right here, and this will bring up...” for a feature that has changed and the “little button” is buried somewhere else. Even open the first template that we focused on in Dreamweaver no longer exits as a simple HTML file now in dreamweaver if you don’t get into BootStrap templates. The Author might spend one whole chapter on what you are seeing, that only existed long ago but not now. It just needs to be updated to reflect all the changes to the program that is being taught.

Although I found the instructor was engaging, never boring and clear in his explanations and demonstrations, DO NOT buy this course if you are subscribed to adobe Dreamweaver CC 2015. This course uses the 2014 version of Dreamweaver CC and it is COMPLETELY different than the 2015 version. I was unable to follow after section 3 (there are 19 sections). So basically out of 141 lectures I was only able to complete 16... Also in the discussion board the instructor doesn't respond and many students are frustrated with this factor. I found out that Adobe actually offers video tutorials for free that take you from A-Z in terms of how to use the program... so I'm kind of thinking this may be the better option for me and those who have the 2015 cc version. If you have the version that was released on Oct. 2014, by all means purchase and follow this course, it is very helpful up until I couldn't continue.

This course is defunct and it should be expressed in the description that it won't work well with the latest version of Dreamweaver. I tried my very best to follow along but it just wasn't worth it when some very major things, such as Layout, are completely different or don't even exist anymore.

I have many courses on Udemy as I want lots of perspectives, I have found this to be the best Dreamweaver CC course. I tell you why, it is very well structured so anyone can follow, it shows you some nice extras like extensions and how to use things like behaviors and finally Andy uses CC confidently I have other CC courses and its a bit of a hash where they continually make mistakes blaming CC, well done Andy Thanks very much.
