This class was created in 2014. It is currently 2021. I expected this to be able to teach me the latest version of Dreamweaver. Tough luck since the description for the class never clued me in to this little detail. The formatting of Dreamweaver has changed significantly (and the instructor is apparently not responding to questions any longer). I was able to overcome a lot of this by going to adobe dreamweaver help site and search for commands and the like. But it was fairly intimidating at first.

I don't want to know the history of website softwares. I really just want to learn how to build my website. The teacher seems to be in love with the sound of his voice. If this doesn't get to the point pronto, I'm writing it off as a loss.

History is important, but the key is to achieve our goals fast. I would suggest to 1) explain a few typical workflows first, then 2) allow the students to follow them in the order the student decides. I used to program in GoLive: great program, but slow and full of bugs... the IT industry destroyed it and now I am struggling with Dreamweaver... this is my workflow challenge: create nicely formatted text, image, video, etc. web pages with many hyperlinks, that work on any device... With a good overview of Dreamweaver features / achievable / examples is the way I would have started, rather than the history... also, pls. be more excited about the topic when you talk... else we'll fall asleep... Best, Paul

Learning web development is a personal aspiration of mine and learning to use an application like Dreamweaver really helps engage me in this subject. This course completely surpassed my expectations with its in-depth lessons while still being fun.

We really have to look at each and every item in the menu bar? I'm doing something else while this is rambling "and whatnot"...

If there was an option to give 10 stars out of five for this course, I would! It is the most engaging and easy to understand online course I have ever taken. There is a lot of information and a lot to learn, but it is so engaging that you won't be overwhelmed. The instructor is very quick to reply emails and answer questions.

I've taken Zak Ruvalcaba's courses before and I've never been disappointed. His is extremely knowledgable in web design and he always explains everything in a clear way. If you're hoping to get valuable skills in web development, I highly recommend taking his courses.

It is an old version of Dreamweaver cc (suspect 2014) which I found to be confusing at times. Loved the content and examples provided are real world and challenges ones thinking. Excellent content so far, so onwards and upwards we go.

Well done, but a LOT of time spent ramping up to using the tool. Would much prefer to dive in and learn about more advanced features or about providers and such later on. If you need a lot of that basic explanation about how web services work, then this is a terrific overview. If you don't, either skip ahead or sit tight for a while. It's hard for me to skip ahead because I'm afraid I'll miss something. :)

The only thing that I could say is that the instructors version of Dreamweaver CC was slightly different to mine, but that could have been due to updates that came after the course was recorded
