The goal of this course is to turn ANYONE into a graphic artist for any type of game.

Why take this course?

This course will teach you how to draw your own game art with Adobe Flash. You'll learn how to make logos, maps, characters, various top-down perspective boards (like land, seas, forests, etc), building, buttons and other GUI, upgrade menus, icons, and animated FX.

The estimated time length for this entire series will be 10-15 hours of videos. When a new section is added, an announcement will be made to any enrolled student.

I really enjoyed this title. It offers a new perspective to drawing in flash. Where I would draw something and not think of adding shading. The shading used here give the 2d images life and more depth. Justin shows you how to create simple shapes and transform them into jump off the screen 2d images. I also like having the completed art files to view and play with later. I recommend this for anyone wanting to create game art, or wanting to simply add life to their 2d graphics. Flash is a powerful tool and is my first option when creating art files.

Instructor seems very knowledgeable. He talks too fast, and doesn't explain what he's doing in the background with shortcut keys. It's a shame, because I'm spending 2 hours on an 18 minute video just going back trying to make sense of what he's doing.

I found this great course, easy to follow and reproduce some of the demo art. Great as i had never used flash before in this way.

Excellent Course for creating Game Art. Covers UI to Characters,Walk Cycles,FX. Especially useful for Game Developers [Targeting Flash and AS3]who don't know how to draw.
