What you will learn

Code a Botnet from scratch and learn to execute DDoS attacks in a controlled environment.

Theoretically and practically discern about the variants of denial of service attacks and learn how to attack and defend from them.

Completely understand the concepts of DoS, DDoS, DRDoS & BotNets with a Classroom style and Hands-On approach.

Engage the challenging 50 questions trivia from the concepts learnt throughout this course.

Why take this course?

Availability of the application or a service is one of the most critical factor of the CIA (Confidentiality, Integrity & Availability) triad. Attackers ultimate intent is to wipe the "A" factor out of the equation.

Step in to the world of Denial of Service attacks and its variants covered on this intensive course with Classroom style teaching and Real-World attack simulation clubbed alongside defense techniques using the Hands-on approach.

  • Straight to the point sessions.

  • Your time is precious - No unnecessary videos on setting up, downloading and installing applications to waste your time and patience. There are lot of courses that teach you setting up things.

  • Classroom concepts are practically demonstrated that helps you never forget the subjects.

  • "Attack & Defend" techniques are taught in depth, suitable for both RED & BLUE teams.

Dive deeper into the concepts of botnets by understanding the botnet code, setting it up, weaponizing and executing them in a closed environment to attack the targets.

  • Feel free to fork and contribute to this project as this is built for you and to the open source community.

Familiarize with all the variants of DoS, DDoS, DRDoS & BotNets.

Take the engaging 50 questions trivia to challenge yourself the concepts grasped from this course.

  • Coming soon & New Attack Additions.

    • This was not part of the initial course. Articles with links & research corresponding to the attack modules will be added from time to time, so you can always stay updated with the state-of-the-art stuff!

    • New Denial of Service attack variants will be added as soon as content is prepared.

By the end of this course, you will be having an enriched idea about what these attacks are, how are these executed and finally how to defend from them.

Basic introduction to DDOS. Only if you have no previous practical experience and little knowledge of DDOS. Consider this as an appetizer. The netbot is not applicable in the real world. The real meat of things, creating a botnet by harvesting thousands of zombies each day, isn't covered here.

I really enjoyed this course. It was very informative and kept me interested. I enjoyed the layout of the course as it seemed very organized to me. I do recommend this course as a basic intro to attacks and prevention methods for various DoS, DDoS, DRDoS, and Botnets.

Thank you it gave me understanding how the DOS and DDOS attacks works and how to launch some of the attacks myself for ethical purposes. So the final my answer is this course is worth time and money because you will learn what you been looking for.

Overall, I would rate this course 4.5/5. Pros : 1) If you are here to charge up your networking concepts and gain some high level exposure, this course will really help you sharpen your minds with the knowledge covered. 2) You get to learn a lot in this and I would suggest everyone to take notes on paper, pen, IPad, tablet, etc while watching any course on udemy for best learning. 3) I would say that course is pretty straight forward and you get what you have been looking for. 4) Good explanation on the Demo and theory practical sessions are really great for classroom style learning which i liked. Cons : 1) If you are looking to learn to coding the botnet or coding the programs used in this course, then it would not be possible unless you know programming, particularly python which is used extensively on this course. 2) It could have been better if newer DDOS attack techniques and DDOS attack protection from service providers, like cloudflare, setting up rules in server firewalls to prevent HTTPS attacks, etc, would also have been covered. Thank you

Amazing course. I recommended this course to some of my friends as we are learning about DoS attacks, and having completed the course, I cannot feel more satisfied. The instructor is very knowledgeable, and is able to explain clearly the theory behind the attacks and mitigation mechanisms with simple language and with hands on modules that allowed me to understand if full how each attack works. Thank you for such an amazing course.

definitely the worst course I've taken on Udemy. There is no coding, the guy just explains code. If you say "Code a botnet" you definitely have to do that, not show the code, can be a copied code from someone repository, its very easy to doo that, you cant proof you wrote the botnet.

Lab demos are fantastic at showing precise details of attack vectors and precise details of defense methods. Easily transferable defense methods across several OSs. Beginner friendly provided you have minimal knowledge of computer networking (OSI layers, IP addresses, etc.)
