At the beginning I tought this video is not good for me. And Dear Ted's speach seem to me very monoton and boring. However I didnt give up to wach the video cause of reasons: Ted is handsome :-) I paid for this video and I was wondering what is going to be happen at the end. Now Im at the end. I prefer more visual as they are more accurate so I recommend Dear Ted to make videos with visualty while gaining money by sitting as heimself said:-) To conclude Thanks for the video as it has diiferent perspective becoming a prof. dog trainer and sharing his knowledge with us. Very useful.

it helped me to really think whether or not I wanted to combine dog training with pet care such as dog walking and pet sitting. I tried to get a dog training business going back when but ran into the issue of getting clients that you only got about 4 lessons once their dog was showing promise they figured it was all trained and you went through the merry go round of trying to get clients over and over again so I had to give it up. I also found when I tried to get my company off the ground I was taxed to the point I could not possibly do it without starving to death so I went and worked for other people for peanuts trying to make a go of it. Trust me nobody tried harder than I did but living in BC they never let you get a business off the ground without taxing you to death.

There are a lot of good ideas that can be implemented from this video series. The only negative I have was no not being able to access on your website www.tedteaches.com the PDF on how to get veterinarians to refer your business. Overall, Greta Job Ted!

The information was great and I would recommend to anyone who is just starting to look into creating a dog training business. I have been looking into starting my own business for awhile and found other resources that have been more helpful to me personally. This gives you a great place to start and get your ideas to get about how you want your business to be and a bit about what to expect. For people looking on how to train dogs this is not the course for you. The course goes in to the business side of things and does not cover the training of the dogs because it is for those who already have experience training and working with dogs. I found that at times the course jumps from topic to topic so the presentation does have a great flow, better transitions from the different topics would make this even better along with combining the information so you do not have to come back to topics. His the energy level during the course was very monotone, there was very little passion and excitement that you can see in some of his other videos online. Because of this I found that the course was a little harder to pay attention to. But It can be hard to get excited talking about business structures and lawyers compared to taking about working with dogs, so I understand.

Excellent course for someone starting their business in the dog industry, not necessarily as a dog trainer. I have a business of socialization of dogs and i mainly work with shy dogs needing to build up their confidence toward other dogs and 90 % of the materials in this course also apply to me. If i had seen this video when i started 4 years ago i would have known what to expect for my business but i didn't and i had to learn everything on my own but i got there eventually, it only took me about 3 years ! Thank you so much Ted for sharing all this information to everyone!
