Helpful and to the point. The only thing that could help me more was adding a quick zoom to show where was clicked and a bit better emphasises on hot keys.
I like this online course and can recommand it, because it makes a lot of fun and is learning the easy way. The instructor gives good explanations, the outline of this course is focused on the essential techniques without unimportant details.
Caso práctico, sencillo y vistoso. Permite tomar contacto con after fx. Ameno y bien explicado. Duración adecuada.
For a newbie like me, it is pretty amazing that I can make such an amazing animation in such short period of time. Follow the video I can make my own flat animation icon, which is great, thanks Phil. Improvement: - Sometime the icon/option on the screen are too small, and you need to look it closely to follow the step correctly. - How to trim the composition section Phil points out the shortcut for Mac, but didn't mention shortcut for windows which is "alt + ]" - How to export H. 264 format (which is missing on current Ae) I saw Phil reply on Q&A, but detail steps would be helpful
Its an excellent course i think its a very good way to start learning After Effects in few steps and focused in motion graphics of course its a beginner course and if you expect a more complex course you have to see other courses... I think for me that im a little bit more experienced After Effects user fell like i want some more content and the exercise its very simple... but for someone who are a beginner ist a great course. Good Course I will recommend it!
I´m very new to After Effects and this was a nice short example that I can use for my own projects. Thanks a lot!
Ha sido un curso breve pero muy completo. Con un ritmo muy bien llevado y unas explicaciones detalladas para no perderte en ningún momento.
Short, simple, sweet course! I only wish we had more examples of types of animations we could do, and maybe slower explanations. I'm a beginner in After Effects, and found myself pausing frequently to see where the instructor clicked.
It goes straight to the point, fast but very interesting. This course is short and very easy to watch while having a lot of information. I honestly loved it.
Good, I have basic illustrator skills so this matches...and I can complete this course in a few hours.....so many times these courses are general and require a huge time commitment....this one is direct and achievable for a quick win
Easy to follow along with great explanations. I was able to create my animation in about an hour and was super happy with the outcome.
This another brilliant course by Phil! He tutors in a way that is very easy to follow and you are never left behind. He also provides very useful project files just in case you can't be bothered to design your object (like me!). Although a short course, he teaches you all the basic tools you need to get started with more advanced flat design animations. Thank you very much Phil!
After watching this course, I knew how to animate a flat polaroid camera, but I didn't know why I was making the choices I was asked to make. Why did the teacher sometimes move just the keyframes and other times move the entire layer? Why did the teacher "freehand" the spacing of the keyframes, especially the sequences of keyframes involving multiple layers? Is that rough sequencing (as opposed to precise sequencing) part of the 'flat' style or just a time saving measure? Why did the teacher use a drop shadow in a flat art style piece? Are drop shadows ok to use in flat art, or should they be avoided? There are many more 'why' questions that I would have liked to know the answer to. Overall though, this was a good course. It did what it set out to do. However, without knowing why most of the choices were being made, the skills shown here are difficult to apply with confidence to other projects.
Very nice quick course containing and explaining all the essentials for flat animation, from building your elements in Illustrator, bringing them into After Effects and quick and hassle-free animation. Also very well presented and narrated! :-) Very helpful and enjoyable course!
