This straight-forward course talks about what an author or creator needs to know about the process of self-publishing graphic novels or novels through CreateSpace/KDP, Amazon/Kindle, iTunes, Comixology, and other channels, as well as info about ISBNs, Copyrights, printing options, file formats, and much more. Templates and links are provided, including Purchase Order forms and Invoice templates, so you are also ready to make sales. Distribution and Marketing topics are also discussed and tips and tricks on pricing your books. This is a fun and easy-to-digest course that gives a lot of information in a short time, with useful tips and links to follow through with!

There are a couple of videos showing the products too, what books look like from different printers like Amazon, Ka-Blam, IngramSpark, and local printers. Updated videos at the end from 2024.

There is a video all about Webtoons that shows how you can publish on that platform and the formatting that you need to know. A template is provided.

That was an interesting course. I’m glad that a course like this is out there. I am currently at that stage in my own, book production where I need to start looking at my self-publishing option in this course every give me a lot to think about.

The course covered a very interesting topic (at least to me) and the instructor took the time to provide some really helpful resources (pdf documents and screenshots) That said, some of the lectures felt very light on actual instructive content, especially considering the instructor has published several comic books himself. It felt very webinar-ish to me. Anyway, I do appreciate the time and effort that goes into creating these courses for us and would like to see more courses on this subject from Cristian. If you've never self-published a book before, you'll definitely benefit from this course.

The course is direct and to the point which I like. The instructor is very knowledgeable. The attachments/resources are extremely useful. Minor Issues - Some of the videos are cut off words as as the instructor is summarizing. - The sound volume is very low, easily over come however.

So far I'm not all that impressed, it's just him sitting in a chair reading off a piece of paper and I really hope his little explanation of the poor man's copyright isn't all he has to say about copyrights because everyone knows the poor man's copyright doesn't hold up in court.
