Digital changed the world, businesses were turned upside down, and COVID-19 in 2020 has accelerated this trend. Consumers have unprecedented access to information and services that change how they are seen as customers. Digital disruption is all about how this has happened, the winners and losers, and the new rules of the game. Digital transformation is all about how individuals, firms, and governments are responding, changing their habits, ways of working, and expectations of any relationship. These are radical shifts that everyone needs to understand and continually anticipate in the second half of the digitally exponential chess board. All 12 lessons in the course include a handy worksheet that you can download and which summarises the key lessons for your application and future reference.

In this course, I’ll be engaging you 1 on 1, as well as providing you with visual insights and downloadable resources to support and embed your learning. We can also engage around the course content and once you’ve enrolled you’ll have access to it as I keep it updated. I’ve researched these topics in my Ph.D., written extensively about them on my blog, and spoken about them at international conferences. I’ve also had to adapt to them in my own life in the same way that you probably have. I look forward to seeing you in the lessons and please remember to rate and review the course. It's a privilege to be part of your learning journey.

I learned the most from the code fest live video recordings. The rest of the course (to me at least) was superfluous and redundant at times. There is certainly some valuable material in here but it could have been synthesized much better.

The instructor is knowledge about the topic. Wish there was some more applications/real life cases. Also, could have been more concise with lectures and course content -- pretty repetitive.

Not satisfied with the content. Could have included more ideas and methods of digitalization and automation etc. What are the tools, apps, OCR platforms, and terminologies applicable using for modern digitalization? The course was more concentrated on the FNB and didn't consider any new strategies on digitalization.

The content is very interesting as the hackathon approach is combining several important innovation tools and strategies in a condensed format. There are many good lessons to be learned here and Peter is definitely an expert in this field. However, the delivery of this course is a bit disappointing as it seems like a wild mix of cuts from public lectures, promotional videos, recordings and interviews. Many of these videos, like the 50 minute compilation of interview snippets, do not provide a lot of value to the course. I would prefer a shorter course that focuses on the main concepts and benefits highlighted with some illustrations and a few examples from the previous hackathons.

The course starts really great, the teacher is also able to share his knowledge in a very convinient manner - easy to understand. Unfortunately throughout the course the quality is getting worse, this does not only apply to the sound... The webinars and sections about the Codefest do not create a lot of value added, at least for me. It seems like the teacher had some materials and included it here just FYI, however it has not really a lot to do with digital disruption, agile and even hackathons. A lot of materials is a simple interview from the Codefest, including short interviews that are cut in the middle. But again, the beginning was great and I am looking forward to hear more about this topic.

Lot's of information, but the lack of interaction/practical exercises eliminates the possibility of providing a better understanding of the material and falls short of student engagement especially when the course is centered around leveraging digital technology.

The professor seemed very knowledgeable but the course felt more like a lengthy podcast/infosession than a true course. Maybe some quizzes/checkpoints for better mastery of concepts and higher level material would be helpful, and some trimming down of repeated content.

A lot of good information on how to keep ahead of innovation by having a code fest and achieving results in a matter of days, vs. months to years.

The course is great! I've read about self-disruption before, but this course really opened my mind and gave practical implications of the concept. Thanks Peter!

This was a great course to watch, I just had an issue with the audio and video being unsycned for the majority of the course.

It has been great to learn many new concepts, data and information about digital disruption; at the beginning of the course the concept "Digital Disruption" had not much meaning, but now it is very much clear

Being a person that was born in the 60's I've seen all these transformations before my eyes. I still have cassette decks and CD/DVD players. Now everyone is all about streaming services.

This is a good course especially for people 40+ years above to get a good scope in the digital ecosystem. Those that rely on old school methodologies, this will be a whole new perspective for them
