Awesome job! I had experience in game maker studio, but I always use coding and programming for that. Drag and Drop seem to be the easy way and shorter one to get some basic games and systems. And on that base build then I can use my code to twist up the functions a bit. I really appreciate of your effort! And I cannot wait for more courses like that with some more complex games.

This is a very, very beginner course in the way that your hand is held the whole way through every step. It did, however, aid in learning the basics of GameMaker, however elementary it was. It is likely a good course for beginner or young game developers.

Course is very easy , far to easy for myself. But i did learn how the general API works , would hope for a more advance course to learn how the coding language works

I felt that the course addresses only the most basic of uses for GameMaker, using drag and drop coding instead of actual GML which I expected. This course is made for children or the most beginners of beginners, and disappointed me as someone who was looking for ways to master GML and the art of making games in gamemaker.
Would rate 4 stars for children, but I feel that they are not the prime audience catered to on Udemy.

This is my first Udemy course and it was a great introduction for me! I have finished the course and for a "free" course, I did not expect to gather so much knowledge! The lectures are great and is as detailed as possible. This is a great course and my only flaw (nit-pick) is that you talk slowly that most of my lectures in the later part went at 1.25 or 1.5 speed! But this is a great course and I thank you for it!

The course was very intuitive but simple. It only covered drag & drop modules without any mention to GML itself. However I enjoyed it because it dissected the steps of building a game in a very easy step by step.

Good course in Game Maker Studio. Also as a side benefit, it gives a decent overview about what are necessary components in making a game. I enjoyed it.

He is very descriptive in the videos and if I only have around 5-10 min the videos are short enough for quick learning boosts if i'm confused. All the lectures are broken up really easily so I can find what I need when I need it

Good refresher training. last time I used GM was 8.1. This would be good for anyone that is returning or new to GM. Especially since the Humble Bundle is offering GM Studio Pro plus all the export modules currently for $15 dollars.

The lectures were relatively easy to follow, and the concepts were presented in a clear manner. The course was enjoyable. I didn't give it 5 stars because at times the instructor would go through menu choices a bit faster than I was able to keep up with.
