I think this tutorial video is for the person who already is having knowledge of in depth knowledge of libraries and header files and styles of CSS type additional supports. Not for the new user who wish to learn Kivy from the basics.

This is the worst course I have ever seen. The instructor can't explain clearly. And also when I requested a refund, that's showing error.

No description of how or why something works just basic examples, which at time don't even work. I could have found better on YouTube for free. I will only finish this terrible course because I have paid for it.

The screenshots need to be bigger in order to be more easily readable. The examples are primitive and don't explain much of the functionality of the various widgets and properties available. The unmentioned requirement of access to a Lenox machine (for Buildozer in order to deploy APPs) was a nasty surprise. The course provider never seems to provide any answers to any of the questions in the Q&A.

Coding View is too much smaller. You have not tell how the prompt $ will come. How to run App on mobile. No live help. Please improve all the above points. Thanks

Difficult to understand. Illustration are not useful, just printing the name of the package would be good. There is sometime an annoying sound in the background.

I personally did not like this course. Repetitive contents were there. Few codes were giving error or was not working in the tutorial videos also, which is the worst thing to do while providing training. Contents look so impressive but when I actually gone through the training it was not that good at all.

I don't personally feel this course was that good. there are many free tutorials on YouTube which I think are Better than this because there was very less of the application part and only basics which you can easily get by searching on google.

I learned a new technology and got lots of information in android using python. Nice voice clarity. Kivy platform is user friendly .

Her accent is strange. A video is not the proper medium for giving instructions for the complicated process of installing KV. She should have given written notes that a person could open and follow step by step. Her instructions for installing pygame were even worse, very peremptory. I may have to ask for a refund.

Positive: hands on, you should know python and be a current programmer, because isn't gaven a deep explanation on every topic, so hire this course after getting confortable with Pytho. Negative: Some important points missing, like creating top android menus, banners (using urllib or so), maybe missing pygame integration examples (an extra bonus)?

I have been through the introduction many times, and clearly it shows installation on windows. But what about this depolyment part? Isn't it for Linux. I mean it is a bunch of Linux commands . I am totally disappointed in that. Even if it is in Linux, just reading from the Word document isn't the correct way to teach! I have already read these instructions on the internet many times!!!!! This is totally iunfair! I would have spend my money and time on something useful.

poor quality audio, editing needed, background distractions and dead time. Not much in the way of explanation of why just 'this is the code'. On sale for me but not worth the list price. Shame, if scrubbed up and a bit more explanation added it could be fine.

Good, quick & simple intro course to KIVY. I look forward to new courses with intricate breakdowns, larger projects and the process of taking kivy apps to the app store.

I am someone who has produced video tutorials for my students (at college level) in the past about programming. I would make the following observations about the instructor's material and her delivery. Firstly, and most importantly, when displaying code on the screen make sure that it is large enough for people to see. I am lucky that (despite being over 40) I can still read very small print. Certainly most people over 50 would not have a chance of reading the code on the screen if it was displayed on a normal laptop screen. Secondly, although the instructor did try to explain a couple of concepts, she mostly just read out the code with some very basic explanations. The section on turning the code into an APK file was very poor with very confused instruction. Personally if I was doing this section, I would have showed how I made an APK file using Buildozer, instead of just talking about it. Thirdly, I think that the editing in these videos are nonexistent. I think it is unacceptable to have long pauses in video tutorials. It is not that much work to take the video footage you have just taken and trim out the pauses using any video editor. I used to use windows movie maker to do this which was free in win 7. I do not know enough about Kivy yet to judge how knowledgeable the instructor was, but I can say that in most of the videos the planning on how to deliver the information was poor. Most of the examples that were used I have found on the Internet and the instructor did not really nail down why the KV language was used. I have done one Kivy tutorial before so I could "work out " most of what the instructor was on about, but I feel someone who just bought the video as a beginner would quickly give up on it because the video is not clear enough in the clarity of explanations of the concepts or in the visuals. Is the course worth the ten pounds I paid for it? Probably not. The examples given must be worth something, but I say that five pounds or even free would be a true reflection of the value of this course.
