Designing Vector Based Characters in Moho Pro

Its a great place to start with MOHO. Chad is a very good teacher. He explains everything what he's doing. Its time to go for another course from Chad.

I appreciate how the instructor takes the time to complete each step along the way instead of speeding up footage or skipping ahead after verbal instructions!

I just completed the 'Designing Vector Based Characters in Moho Pro' and think it was an excellent investment. As someone who has experience with vector-based tools in other software, I appreciated how Chad, the instructor, helped me quickly gain confidence in using Moho's vector tools. He broke down the character design process in Moho while sharing tips and tricks that made it easier for me to understand the vector illustration workflow. This is a fantastic course. Chad goes over every detail so you are not lost in the process. I am learning so much and he makes it very easy to create a character from scratch.

This is the absolute basics needed to start in Moho. This has helped me be more confident in busting out drawings and creating layers upon layers. I am looking forward to Chad's Rigging and Animating Characters course. gg

This course is great for getting to know Moho. Chad explains really well and his voice is pleasant on the ears. However, as a graphic designer, I always get easily annoyed with how people work with the curvature tools. He gets what he wants though, so can't say it's wrong or anything. Overall I highly recommend watching this course when you're new to Moho. Looking forward to starting his next course on rigging and animating. Thanks, Chad!

If you are brand new to Moho, this tutorial is a great place to begin learning because: 1). His pace is awesome, and he repeats information that you can't always pick up by doing something once. 2) The lessons are manageable (between 4 to 14 minutes), so you complete lessons quickly and feel as if you have accomplished something. 3) The workflow is adaptable. After completing the course, you could design your own character and follow the same workflow for your own design. 4). He's friendly and easy to understand. Helpful hints: 1). In the lower left corner of the display screen, change your Display Quality to High, so your shades and highlights will look black and white, respectively 2). The Back Hand looks inverted from the original design. I just did a Flip Horizontally on it. 3). The shade and highlight of the back arm don't match the light direction source. I just left them in place and used the Select Shape tool and reversed the black to white and white to black and lowered and increased their alpha fields. Overall: Highly recommended!!

Muy buen maestro. Buscaba la forma de empezar en Moho, ya que animaba en un software que resultaba difícil animar. Este curso es la mejor opción para principiantes, pues te ayuda a conocer todas las herramientas y a navegar por las diferentes propiedades del personaje. Luego de este curso, continuaré con el curso de rigging.

Got more comfortable about using the Moho tools and designing a character. Very helpful. Would suggest maybe hiding the timeline to only show the canvas if possible for better screen presentation.

Great course, easy to follow and lots of ideas how to increase the design with shadows and lights on Moho. Usually I see we lots bad design characters choices that would benefit from those tips.

I learned some subtle techniques on how to manage shapes using the shape tools and have a better understanding of masking.

Chad is an excellent instructor! I would absolutely recommend this course to anyone. I bought all the other courses he offers in MOHO after completing this one. For anyone who is hesitant, Chad goes over nearly everything.
