Top notch course! The only one in the market which has the detailed designing of membrane bio reactor. It describes the design parameters in detail. Another great course by Sindhuja as I have taken all her previous courses. This is the only course which gives a detailed design calculation of Membrane bioreactor. The course once again covers the basics and then switches to pretreatment of MBR. In pretreatment detailed designing of fine, coarse screens( headloss, velicity parameters) , equalization tank are discussed. Next the course discusses about MBR and gives an overview of what it is and what pollutants it removes. The next part involves in the comparison of ASP and MBR. It highlights the advantages of MBR over ASP both design wise and the with respect to outlet parameters. Then the course discusses important terms definitions like MLVSS, F/M, Solid retention time etc. It then highlights the values to be taken for important design parameters for designing both immersed and external MBR such as MLVSS, F/M, Solid retention time . In this the calculation of anoxic tank to remove nitrogen is also discussed in detail. Lastly the best part of the lesson where the author has taken enormous time to explain each ans every line in the excel sheet which involves designing an immersed MBR. The editable excel sheets is given by the author with which we can design any MBR system by just changing the input values. All in all another gem of a course! Worth the money!
