Why take this course?
A letter of Executorship has now been issued and the administration process can begin.
Far less admin is required where a Letter of Authority is issued, but you as still obliged to deal with all the assets and liabilities of such a deceased estate, which we will be discussed during this session.
The deceased estate comprises of all the deceased’s assets and liabilities and the main object of the administration process is to ensure that all assets of the deceased are gathered, liabilities are paid in order to make a distribution to heirs.
A deceased cannot own any assets and/or liability after the administration process has been completed

About the Presenter:

Lize is seasoned in the Administration of Deceased’s Estates as she has been administering deceased estates since 2001. Lize has an AIPSA Diploma in Insolvency Law and obtained a certificate in Administration of Deceased’s Estates, Continuing Legal Education and the Law Society of South Africa.
Lize has now decided to share her vast knowledge on the subject to learners wanting to embark on this journey.

over 220 appointments as Executor in both Testate and Intestate Estates
act in advisory capacity to other appointed Executors as to estate administrative requirements
have held appointments in various complicated Estates
