I found that after watching my niece struggle with the grief of losing her husband, I wanted to use my education and experience in ministry to help people who are grieving a loss, and provide a platform for them to share and talk about their loved ones and feelings without having to travel to the other side of the city.
The course was informative. A lecture well written, and one that i can relate to on a very personal level.
I found certain parts irrelevant to Grief - it could have been made a bit more relevant to Grief itself and what People are going through.

I work as a community planning consultant for a senior apartment facility (65 & up) in Texas. In the last 4 months some of the residents have lost multiple members of their family and community to Covid-19. I would like to be able to help them in some way as they navigate their way through this terrible time of their lives. So far, this course has helped me and actually made me understand why I felt the way I did during my own losses of friends and family.
After finishing all of the lectures. I must add that the course is eye opening for me. With resent changes around the world do to pandemic I’m able to understand why my friends behaviors, my feelings. This is eye opening for me.
I am going through a grieving process because of my son and his family who emigrated to the UK. The insights shown by the lecturer, his advice and practical exercises were very helpful.
