2. To build APM for your application with Datadog from scratch.

3. To visualize the entire request path and determine exactly where a bottleneck or error occurred.

To Be able only with a few mouse clicks to track errors inside your application and find slow queries.

4. Perform datadog Agent installations, configurations and query basic metrics.

5. Analyze datadog APM Service monitoring, Trace searches and Code Profiling.

This includes .NET Core API monitoring with the SQL service layer.

6. Create dashboards with different widgets like timeseries, query values and toplists.

We will create widgets together for:

- Latency in Timeseries and Query value graph

- Error rate in Timeseries and Query value graph

- Top List Endpoints in List/Table/Pie Chart

- Host graph usage

- Service map usage

- Applying Formulas

7. Create Monitors/Alerts for host, services, endpoints, iis and watchdog.

We will create alerts together for::

- monitor for request latency

- monitor for error rate

- monitor for specific api endpoint

- monitor for sql query duration

- monitor for host data reporting

- watchdog monitors

8. Understand SLA, SLO, SLI and Error Budget by creating Datadog SLO for success rate

9. Integrate monitors with Slack and PagerDuty

10. Synthetic Monitoring with API and Browser Tests creation using Get/Post requests with Authorization Bearer Tokens

11. Log Management and how to save/view logs using NLog in Datadog

12. Notebook

- how to investigate an issue using notebook and collaborate with team members using comments

- how to use templates and create custom ones

13. Monitor application key aspects like availability, reliability, scalability and duration.

14. How to setup and monitor NodeJS application with MongoDB in Datadog - with custom metrics and traces

THe guy is hard to understand and talks little about how the program actually works. It should be real time work of the system and navigation, not powerpoints.

The screens are dated, does not align with what I see on my own dd instance. I wish there were examples for other alerts not only from metrics

I am impressed with the quality of this course. The lecturer goes through each feature of Datadog explaining in detail how they are configured and used. Amazing course!

Can you please add some more emphasis on how to search the things, keywords and symbols, more on query , it will be more useful

Very good intro overview of what is datadog and navigating what it has to offer. Recommend to those who are just getting started. Nothing advance, just the basic usage of everything.

The teacher just reads what is in the UI. No clear example of how to use this in complex applications.

Overall this was very good intro to datadog. As some of the others have noted, the presenters accent is a little tough sometimes, but after the intro I thought the sound quality got better. I would have likec some more detail on the metrics formulas and syntax. For real world stuff that is the most confusing part for me (once integration issues are resolved.)

The instructor not only teaches datadog but also the way to manage and present the data. Effective administration can really help customers to gain good insights from the tool and is evident from these sessions. Kudos !

Very useful course which provided some helpful application examples to understand how to use the DataDog software and its versatility, though some more explanation of the ASP.NET + IIS + SQL Server would have been helpful for me personally as I have never worked with ASP.NET & IIS before. However, I managed to fumble my way through and figured out that 1) I needed to configure connectivity to my SQL Server in order for the DogsWorld application to work, 2) how to configure the app to my particular setup, 3) how to set up IIS, 4) I was lucky I already had a SQL Server setup though I suppose you could also connect the application to SQLLite, and finally 5) to setup the actual database and dog table which can be figured out from the ASP.NET code. The Node.JS and Mongo.DB application was better documented, organized, and explained and I really appreciated it more than the first one. though the subtitles were terrible, I was able to listen to the author at 1.5x or 2x speed and understand everything clearly and I really liked his style and sense of humor. Hope this review helps to improve the course as I think it is a keeper. Overall, a good course. Thank you, Emin!

It's very difficult to follow the heavy accent. It would've been very helpful if the Captions were better and displayed what the instructor was really saying, without the accent.

This course is not good. All the lectures are explained separately. No realistic examples are used instead some basic ones are used. It lacks a lot of Datadog concepts.

Great course with a lot of demos. Thank you for that. It can be improved however, and I strongly recommend this course
