Overall, this was a great course. It provided me with a solid foundation in python, and it enabled me to use the python skills I learned to build useful security tools. I also enjoyed how the course demonstrated each cybersecurity concept with applicable coding examples. I have yet to come across a course that actually shows how code directly relates to cybersecurity concepts. This is a great course for anyone who would like to see the correlation between cybersecurity and python (other coding languages as well: PHP and Ruby on Rails). A piece of feedback I have is that the course examples are written for a Linux computer. This meant that I had to translate the commands used in the course into commands that would work on a Windows computer. This was a minor inconvenience, but a bit annoying nonetheless. Overall, I really enjoyed taking this course, and I highly recommend it.

The course was informative but as a Python Developer I felt like there wasn't enought information connected to Python. For example There were many examples with Rails or PHP but not enough with Django or Python in general. And I started this course because I was thinking that I can code Python along with learning about cybersecurity but it wasn't always the case. The sound sometimes was too low and it was hard to hear while the next video was very loud, so I had to adjust the sound all the time. And speaking about the information in the code - it is actually quite important and good to know.

The cyber security tools section was very difficult to follow along on my system, as I did not have a pre-setup system. Even now, having finished the course I still do not have Ruby on Rails set up because I couldn't figure out how to set it up the way it was presented.

The content is too simplistic instead of reflecting real-world examples. For example the penetration testing example is just simply a HTTP ping test instead of actually showing an actual reverse shell. It definitely would not prepare anyone for a career in cybersecurity, my opinion is that its more suitable for young students who want to be introduced to cyber security. There are better courses for professionals at the same price.

it says no need for prior experience, but here i am at my first lesson basically and he was moving way too fast!

I am working on testing secure components and writing automation tests in Python. I believe this course will help me understand how to test for security better. I will also understand relevant Python libraries that we can use.

I just finished a semester in college learning python for my cybersecurity major and this course has already taught me more substantial and career-ready programs that I will able to use on the job. Well done!

they can improve more like how the root and directry is added btw sublime txt to python and work module. but overall the course brings and exposure to python coding from scratch.

The course doesn't get into very much detail and as such the python implementations are not very useful. The encryption section also doesn't even make sense. The final program of the encryption section isn't even an encryption algorithm - you aren't able to go from encrypted text (binary) back to the original message. I would say it's more like hashing, but that's not even correct either as you get a different 'hash' every time you run the program (with the same input). So basically the encryption section is useless.

I am enjoying the detailed explanations of how cyber security works and the Python code examples of the tools.

The course is well designed with great examples and screenshots. It is paced really well and starts with an intro to basic concepts which helps create a good foundation for the subsequent material. Having access to the code is helpful in getting hands on experience.

The course is very well made. I have taken another course by this instructor and he explains things very well. He makes sure that his students get the best out of the course. Looking forward to learn more interesting things.

It's been excellent so far. I'm not familiar with Python so am having to look up syntax during the code example videos but it's fairly similar to Ruby so it hasn't been hard. The code examples are fairly intuitive. While some of the theory lectures might be a tad boring at first they're jam packed with info, great work guys!

This course is providing the entry-level information both for hobbyists and IT professionals. It does help in case the student knows a programming language to follow the explanations provided by Mashur and Evgeny. However, they provide some resources for those want to learn about the programming language. They are very responsive to help me when I posted my questions. Overall, this course gave me the base to understand and be aware of potential issues related to cybersecurity breaches. Thank you!
