Over all this is a great introduction to CSS# animations. The author takes a systematic approach moving from simple concepts to more and more complex concepts in a logical progression. The delivery style and voicing of the instructor is friendly and likable. This course would be great for anyone who is getting started in using CSS3 to animate elements on their web pages and applications. I gave this course 4.5 stars. I fell short of five stars only because i would have liked to have seen more detailed usage of javascript along with the CSS3 - in particular event handling that CSS3 will not do. But, as i said, overall this a great course and I recommend it to anyone.

There is no coding with the viewer at all, it's just a guy reading a piece of paper showing some code. Its no intensive and there is almonst no walk through. Waste of money....this course should be free.

Simply amazing. I go back to this course to find new things that I may have missed the first time but it greatly helps in my line of work.

The course covers the basics of transformations and animations and explains them well. The instructor is easy to understand, but the more "complex" examples feel outdated and the explanation falls a bit short. I also expected some more complex examples for the course being called "Masterclass". Also it missed more involvement by the course taker, by writing code yourself. The best thing to learn something is to do it yourself.

A truly brilliant course! I am truly amazed at what can be done with CSS3! With CSS3 you can make spinning pointers, accordians, zoom-ins, fly-outs and many more incredible effects. If you want jaw-dropping 'how did he do that?!' effects for your websites with browser-side tools then take this course! Would be nice if Section 8: sample animations was populated (not yet). Also a small section on obfuscating CSS would also add to the course since anyone could steal your cool effects without it. Amazing course! Well worth the cost. Highly recommended!

I think you probably need to know the basics of CSS2 before you start this course, because it can be quite complex in some places. I took the course as it was knock down price and although I know CSS and Javascript/vbscript I still was met by things that wouldn't work at first, so like many of these courses best to take your time and let the information sink in and do your own animations when you have learned the syntax. One little concern is if you animate in Gifs it's cake to get them in the right place but CSS3 animations are going to be a little tricky with Responsive Design, but I'm going to practice. All in all a good course.
