The website people are supposed to build in this course looks horrible. It is not a result of any design at all. Looks amateur at best.

Old, outdated, bad web design, this course teaches you how to make a very ugly old-school looking website. I wish I could return this course and get my money back.

The instructor was great, the lessons were strong and I can say that even though many of the processes he uses are outdated, I still learned a few new tricks that will help me be a better graphic designer. However, responsive web design is pretty much the only thing that matters anymore and the lessons are for a basic web page with no responsiveness. Still a great starting point for any graphic/web designer, but it should be labeled as such in the summary for the course. I also would recommend that Udemy begins displaying the original release date of the course to help possible students to better gauge as to how helpful the course will actually be to them.

Some of the training is still applicable as a foundation to current skills, but overall, this course's content needs to be replaced with current practical workflow. Take this course if you can find it being offered on a deep-discount sale, otherwise look elsewhere.

Hello, This course is enough for beginners would like to know how to use Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver for Webdesign with focusing on the tools itself., and the instructor does that very well! appreciated that. I really missed concepts about the web design process it self like best practices for a layout, etc. also HTML and CSS weren't the focus of this course. the tools are., so if it that your goal, it's good enough Finally the course need to be updated in matter of Photoshop, illustration, Dreamweaver versions still what offered is basically the same in the new versions.

I wouldn't recommend anyone develop websites like this anymore. There are many more modern standards that aren't covered. Please do not purchase this course.

Instructor kept going off on so many tangents that I couldn't ever get to the techniques of the course, even when I jumped ahead again and again. But I know nine ways to change a color slider in photoshop.

Using Flash has always been and today most definitely is a no-go for save web sites, especially for web sites that are meant to be cross-target. The design the course favors may be "en vogue", but it also is the type of design that does not keep visitors on the site for long, because vital information is not displayed at the most prominent place. Having a slide show taking up nearly 100% of (many visitors') screens means that - aside from images, that may not even be displayed - no information is transported. So: 5 points for the "easy approach to web design", 0 points for "creativity" and "DESIGN". In sum: 2.5 points, rounded up to 3.

This course teaches very bad practice. It is old but these were never good practices to be following. Bad HTML and CSS and awful design. The course also moves far too slow and the teacher uses the wrong tools for the job. In one section the teacher takes about five videos to create three grey boxes in Photoshop as part of his pointless wireframe which in this case is just the final design without colour. There are better tools for wire framing. In short avoid.

960px, iframe, bad design (not the preview image / multiple do not matching fonts, boring structure, etc.). I Would only recomand this to people who have never worked in design and html - With the note, that these are not the latest standards, but a first of a thousand lessons for web working.

Pretty old school methods of web design. Hardly anything about new stuff like CSS and HTML5. I would say only if you are an absolute beginner - well, even then, I'd probably suggest another course that's more current.

Being Autistic, I have been looking for a Web Design video course, specifically tailored toward creative people. I have seen sources similar to this in book form which I simply can't work through.
