Often times, learning a new game engine can be difficult, especially when it comes to Unreal Engine 4. Unreal Engine 4 makes your 2D and 3D games stand out, as long as you know how to properly use it.

This course will teach you exactly how to use it. The 15 lecture course (which only takes an hour and a half of your time) starts off with the basics. It teaches you how to implement the basics to create great visuals that are real to the human mind. From there, you are taught simple, clear concepts. That way it’s easy to follow and Unreal Engine 4 becomes much easier to use.

The best part is, you will use the concepts learned for every single game project that you will ever develop. You will even discover and love using the difficult feature, the marketplace. While others (who didn’t take the course) will find that feature hard to maneuver.

By the end of the course, you will be able to:

  • Apply what you learned to build your own games from start to finish.

  • Organize your game development to make your workflow not only quality but faster.

  • Make use of Unreal’s blueprints to expand on first-person shooting and create new characteristics.

What’s more? If you struggle with programming and coding, you are in luck! This course gives you examples upon examples guiding you through the fundamentals of Blueprint programming. So that in little to no time, you will be able to make magic with Blueprints.

You will finally get a course that teaches you how to build a game, from A to Z. When you are done, you will know how to make quality 2D and 3D that sets you apart.

Even the first lessons in the course are already a let down due to them being out of date. Questions in the QA regarding this have been ignored completely.

Although he didn't sound as bored as the last this course is nothing but a waste of money. He teaches several things that UE4 courses themselves teach for free and the rest of the content is so outdated that I had to go to Youtube videos just to learn the newest method. This course either needs updated or removed.

Jamie19 November 2019

This course is plagiarizing free YouTube guides from Virtus Learning Hub / Creative Tutorials (Same as the 'Creating The Simple Shooting Game With Unreal Engine' course) , I would advise that you save your money and complete them from YouTube free of charge.

Davide24 August 2019

I could not give a half star, and the half star simply goes to the person who had to spend time doing it. The content is very short and they are not all fully developed, there are many gaps to actually be able to make use of it. Some are exactly the same and others are the opposite, I could have figured out myself. The teachers (if knowledgeable ) does not mention everything he does or even explain using words such as: that, this, there,.. But not explaining what or how and why most of the times. Videos are confusing because he makes mistakes goes back and repeat, WASTE OF TIME AND CONFUSING. Overall this course can be found FOR FREE ON YOUTUBE, just need to find. Disappointed in the course that is robbing people. I got the course for $10 and is is not even worth $1. I cannot accept that this course is actually worth $$200$$

A horrendous course. It's very clear the instructor knows what he's doing, but does an awful job at actually teaching it. Does not explain why he is doing things and hence does not enable you to do things on your own in the future. You just follow the steps and memorise them if you want to do it again for the future. This is coming from someone who is not a complete beginner in unreal engine 4, nor in blueprints. If you are an absolute beginner, do not purchase this.

Michael14 March 2019

Short and sweet course that shows how to make some powerful but functional game object within a FPS framework.

It's not exactly an engaging tone, and many aspects of Blueprinting are left on the side. Very weird to use Matinee (which is explicitly tagged as legacy even in the video) for a sliding door, in a Blueprint course, when a simple Blueprint would work the same. There is way too much of: "we'll do this, then that", without any explanation of the thought process behind it, and why all the nodes we use are the correct ones. I am not very impressed by this course, compared to free courses on Youtube.

David2 February 2019

This course leaves a bad taste. From the educational point of view this is a fail. Every lecture could start with. "I don't care if you can follow or not" And that's a bit sad because this course would have so much potential. If you know Blueprints and need a quick look up how to do something, this "course" is all right. Due the fact that I have some basic understanding of UE4 I know what the teacher is doing (most of the times) but so much details are not explained. So I guess for beginners this course has to be a nightmare. Seriously, why on earth this speed? Do they expect the students to constantly adjust the speed settings because the teacher just wanted the lecture to be over with?

Atanas2 February 2019

The tutor is clearly well educated on the topic, but... I am not :D This course is NOT suitable for complete beginners in the world of blueprints. I would recommend this course only to those people that feel comfortable or somewhat comfortable with blueprints and cannot find the solutions to some of the problems they are having. But I would NOT recommend this course to people that are new to this topic. The reason is that the tutor completes the task that is set for this specific tutorial but gives very little to no explanation why he did what he did

Ekstasis28 January 2019

I personally sifted the interwebs to find out that all these small yet essential details were barely mentioned if at all. This course walks you through and demonstrates each mechanic simply. The instructor spends enough time showing the interactions and explaining the interactions well enough for the knowledge they bestow to build a solid foundation for future games to come. Kudos!

Van20 January 2019

I highly recommend buying this course if you want to work with the UE4 and potentially build blueprint libraries.

Brown19 January 2019

This course is really useful. It is right from the scratch and covers a wide range of topics. Examples are lucid and easy to implement.

Bellamy28 December 2018

Well worth the purchase and gets you familiar with how the engine works pretty quickly and a great reference in case you need to brush up on a certain aspect of how things work

Tyler10 December 2018

This instructor is smart and has a lot more to show here. This is a great way to apply some powerful techniques quickly. I was however slightly disappointed with this course. Ever heard the saying give a man a fish - feed him for a day; teach a man to fish - feed him for a lifetime? IMO This class gives you a bunch of pretty nice fish. And with this information I can get started; just wish there was some theory to go along with the quick labs.

Grubb1 December 2018

this course focused on game design, provides insights far beyond the world of game design and is full of useful advice for anyone designing anything.
