What you will learn

Draw their comic book style faces.

Draw facial features properly.

Use Sketchbook Pro more effectively.

Why take this course?

This course will cover how to draw comic book style faces step by step. You will learn how to draw a comic style male and female face from start to finish in a full frontal view.  You will learn simple measurements to map out the face and make the drawing process much easier to accomplish.

This course will show you how to create your line art and refine the rough sketch to get it ready for the coloring process.  We will then finish the faces by adding color and effects to our artwork. By the end of this course you will have a strong fundamental knowledge of how to construct facial drawings and a better understanding of the tools within Sketchbook Pro 8 that help with this process.

( This course is still good for beginners that want to follow along using traditional art tools and/or another digital art program to draw with.  The techniques are transferable to all methods of drawing. )

We will go over the use of layers, brushes, selection tools and many other great features in this powerful program.  If you are looking to improve your ability to draw interesting characters while gaining a stronger knowledge of this amazing drawing program, then this course is for you!

And remember you have a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee if you are not totally satisfied with this course!

Good course, but I think it could be improved. Like adding more lessons about coloring the whole body

this is the only lesson i can find that uses sketchbook pro that assumes i know how to use facebook pro and concentrates on the drawing. i cant wait to get more from this teacher. way to go

Robert explains thoroughly how he creates a man's and a woman's face. This could also be explained on paper the same way. I little more on how he uses Sketchbook Pro in this classes would go along well in the instruction. I paid for this class and had to go to Youtube and get his class for free about using SP to draw and understand what he was doing. He speaks clearly and you can see that he enjoys drawing. I did get some good and useful information.

I've struggled with drawing on a digital tablet for a long time. I'm getting better but I feel as if the explanation from this course will help me improve more. Especially, with going through the steps to get to a finished rendered drawing. I have a feeling I will enjoy learning from the instructor and get a better understanding when using Sketchbook Pro.

Gostei muito das aulas apresentadas, esclarecedoras e muito bem apresentadas. Pouco desenvolvimento sobre a cara de diferentes ângulos.

While you could pick up some clues it was too fast and lacked description for example what parts of sketchbook were used and from where

The first lesson is slow enough to follow. After that everything goes very fast. We can't follow which tool, color, layer, anything, is selected. We are beginner in drawing and are not familiar with the software at all. So with all that combined, we are not ready for this course.

The instructor does a fantastic job in explaining the material. However, I could not bring myself to giving a 5 star since I don't know the full breath of the material and I cannot give anything that that can be improved upon a 5/5.

The instructor is very knowledgeable, and I'm learning a lot of new tricks that I'm going to put to use the next time I start doodling.

I took this because of the experience in line drawing the artist and tutor had. I do not have sketchbook pro but a similar program and found it will help me improve my skills in facial drawing thank you it was a great mini course

Learned some great techniques from this course and was able to follow along easily with my basic knowledge of sketchbook pro. I would readily sign up for a comic book poses course if it was made available. I was sent to this course from the instructors youtube channel and I would definitely recommend his channel for even more inspiration.

This was a good. But I would like more. He only show you have to draw the head for the front view but no from out angles. He should have got more into head construction methods and get more into the facial features.

Great insights and step by step explanation of methods. My only drawback was there was only one type of male face and one type of female face covered. In the first lesson, there is a touch on how to do fuller/ more weighty, and longer/more slender faces, but that was it. All in all, still a good course for someone like me that is trying to get back to drawing comics style after a long while.
