I am halfway through the jeans course but am loving it. I had a challenge to get the Measurement Sheet that is included with the course, but the instructor provided several ways for me to get it, and I was then able to continue with making the pattern. Following the instructions produced the best pants pattern fitting muslin I have ever made! I look forward to continuing with the instructions on finishing the rest of the patterning and producing a beautifully fitting pair of jeans!

There are a lot of gret experts on Udemy. But just becasue you are an expert doesn't mean you know how to teach the skills. This instructor is an EXCELLENT teacher. I read some of the other reviews commenting on how the material in this course is a little drawn out and could be condensed somewhat. In my opinion, the review and ful explanations make this course on jean construction easy to follow and understand. Very seldom to I have to go back and repeat a section in order to understand the content. Great job!!

This course fulfilled more than my expectations. As an intermediate to experienced sewer the pace was a bit drawn out to watch the videos in their entirety (I advanced through the time lapses of tasks I already understood). However, for someone who has never sewn the amount of detail would be well appreciated and they would turn out a perfect pair of jeans for themselves. There were so many unexpected techniques, the concept of construction with only a straight stitch sewing machine (including hand sewing techniques) was marvelous. This course leaves no person without; no matter your skill and tools. Much of the basic foundation of course (measurements, pattern block creation, sewing) will apply to fabricating any type trouser; just some of the details of the style and the fabric will change. The instructor is very responsive to questions and monitors his course diligently. Loved the measurement calculator, the long bias tape fabrication and guidance about presser feet and guide tools for the machine. He never leaves you wondering about anything. Worth the money spent. Thank you.
