Welcome to CorelDraw Quick Start where you will learn to use Corel Draw by creating actual projects. No long periods of going through tools and menus item by item. In this course, we’ll jump right in and start creating and learning. By the end of this course you will be comfortable using CorelDraw. You will have created different styles of logos, used a logo to create a business card and created a mock-up of a logo in use.
I designed this course for people like me who don’t learn well when they are overloaded with information but find it easy to learn when they are doing and having fun.
The ideal student for this course is anyone who wants to get started with CorelDraw.
I use CorelDraw X8 in this course but most everything can be accomplished with previous versions too.

I am brand new to design/draw software, so it was a bit challenging to get started; however, I feel like the tools are here to help me understand the functionality of the program. I am really enjoying the course so far.

Easy to follow along with, and the pace was spot on. The only thing I would say in the critique, There were a good number of commands or functions that did not line up from the video to the new CD Graphics Suite. Overall, great course

Great content, but the lecturer worked REALLY fast, making me rewind to capture what the content.
Also, I'm working with X6, so the control locations are somewhat different, requiring me to interpret to the newer software.

Having just purchased Corel Draw after years of using Adobe products, I needed a good basics course before trying some more intensive projects.
Dan presents his projects clearly and I like working through a design in order to learn.
I would have liked maybe one or two more projects or one that was a bit more indepth, but overall I liked this course and feel I now have the knowledge to begin using Corel Draw more effectively.
Very good for people new to the software.

I found some of the material useful but it is obvious that coreldraw 2017 differs just enough from x8 to be aggravating or the instructor is using a highly modified, customized, set up making things he explains hard to do because the software dosen't do what it is for the instructor making it just an exercise in frustration.

Well the course was very informative and easy to follow. The problem arises when the short cut keys do not work on the computer as it does in the video. Particularly the "SHIFT/PAGE DOWN" to move and object to the back of layer. Not to mention the F keys not working as shown either.

Happy that I decided on this CorelDrarw course. I LOVED that you hit the ground and make progress right from the start. I knew next to nothing about Corel prior to this course and thanks to Dan's course I can now make logos! High quality all the way around.
