Ref to review #1 less than 4% completed: Why do you have this survey so soon? It should be far beyond the course catalog... So far it's the beginning and very cool but lets see at the end... Ref to review#2 at 50% of the course: His clarity explaining things are very good. That said, it shows the confidence by demonstrating the knowledge that the course contains an what he is doing which is very clear, sharing the knowledge to those who are interested on learning from it. review#3: This course gives all the information that you will receive on your community college intro to java. It adds some slight different materials like importing some libraries (which in a class you will write your own to understand how those work in a more complex way). The points is that you will learn the same in a different approach. *Overall: take this course if you want to learn the basics and intermedium levels of java. Once you learn one language the rest will be slight similar to the one that you have learned. What I am trying to say is that Focus in a language first and get the basics clear, operators datatypes, arrays, if you are learning object oriented put attention to that because could be confusing, inheritance, list liked list and double linked list and so on. During this course my advise is to take a pause after every lecture and try to do the same exercises... keep them organized in a folder so you can refer to them later when you are trying to work in a personal project or just want to practice/review it as well. The parts that are missing here are the practice exercises after each lecture, but it gives you the opportunity to work on those "interview questions" that others don't! Put a very close attention to those since maybe on day someone will ask you those. Also try to solve them by your own, no matter the time that will take, just go for it and try over and over. As mentioned before what is missing here are more practice exercises. Learning programming is about being patient, know when you need a break and a lot of practice. but overall this course has been very helpful and for sure ill be back to review some things that some of my teachers haven't been as clear to explain. Thanks!
