Construct 2 - The Complete Game Creation Learning Tool

this is going to be my initial review and can change through the course of time. BUT i really like this course as this is a gamechange for other courses out there- this is so far the only UNSELFISH course out there that teaches deployment and real life implementation of the C2. There are a lot of tutorials about "LEARN HOW TO MAKE GAMES" but doesnt care about real life implementation to android or ios stores. Its not enough you learn something that can't be freely shareable and put into practice (well you can still put it in C2 arcade but that's it..) and it also tells something about google store stuff which i find it really crucial. I won't recommend enrolling to mammoth interactive tutorials here not that they're bad but they feel mass produced stuff and commercialized unlike this. I like how the author is very generous in giving out tutorials. Some teachers are really insecure in sharing trade secrets (though they're not, they're just selfish as they fear their students might be their next competitor in the field, well thats how i felt) but this author is really good. Actually even if you teach all of this, it depends in a person. Game dev isnt for all, I dont know either if i will make it big but as long as i can see myself in the android store or ios with my game, im proud to do this. I highly recommend this. This is the ONLY COURSE THAT ISN'T SELFISH IN UDEMY so far I think unless some guy also make their course share game deployment.

Great beginner tutorials, if you are looking to build and publishing App and I would recommend it. I did not give five stars as you are shown that to do and it would have been even better to explain why or to point problems that you may face when publishing an App.

After watching all the course my opinion wasn't very good for the course I hopped for better because the tutorial was very good only on the beginning of the tutorial when he was making the first game he was giving a lot of info and how exactly you make a game with details but after that game he was just making another game and you just watching how he do it and sometimes he do stuff and you don't know why and he doesn't fully describe, and the third game its already done and you will not get a lot of new information be cause he doesn't make it from scratch.

The course is pretty good, he walks you through a lot of stuff and you get to see the mistakes he makes and watch him fix it.

Some of tutorials are too short and vague. For eg. Sound adding didn't retify problem. A lot content require self refer to capx file to learn, defeat the purpose of online education. Need more in-depth to why uses other party plugins rather than construct 2 own plugins such as admob to publish game with ads, etc. Continue to update the tutorial with the latest version of construct 2.

I have to say that this course exceeded my expectations. I started with 0 experience and now, after I complete this course. I am able to make my own games like real game developers. If you want to learn how to make games don't hesitate. Enroll now, because this course is complete. You don't need anything else.

The author should have spent more time on preparing his lectures; especially given his poor English. Due to insufficient preparation and organisation some of the lectures were really hard to follow. What's more, good practices such as keeping one's code neat via groups was not taught, making it harder for the instructor as well to deliver each lecture. All in all, it is a good course for absolute beginners but it could have been a lot better.

In this course you will find that The approach is different, and in many ways simpler then a lot of the tutorials you will find on the internet. Some methods taught could benefit from more "why" explanation but generally speaking this is very informative. The lessons are concentrated, there is no fluff, needless yapping or filler. Also, Mihai is there for you if you have a question, he will answer.

Easy to follow, no problems following the tutorials. Well produced and would recommend this to others who want to make app games. Kudos to the author :)

This is a great course on explaining how to build games in Construct 2. Step by step instructions from beginning to end. The videos are recorded in real time as the game is being built, so by the end of the course you will have games ready to go. If you are wanting to learn how to build games for Android and iOS then this is a great course for you. I would recommend this course. There is even information on how to monetize your game and make money. Good quality and great information!
