I've learned quite a bit from this course so far, but have discovered some of the content is literally copy and pasted from websites I've found trying to do further study. Word for word. Disappointing for a paid service.

Section 3 Course 19. RAID Controllers Minute 10:20 Cache memory section says "dick cache" instead of "disk cache" There are a lot of typos like that in this course. I do appreciate this guy's energy though.

This course is NOT a human instructor, the robot voice shows up that tool with AI, or software to record voice from a transcript file or something recorded but it's not a human.

Enrolled in this for the practice exam. Multiple questions have multiple correct answers. And A LOT of questions are marked as incorrect when they should'nt be.

Presentation is almost robotic, just reads out wall after wall of text. Can find better learning material on youtube for free

I like the instructions, but would like to see step by step how certain things connect instead of just laid out with arrows pointing in different directions that overlap. It can be a bit confusing to follow along.

Great job explaining RAID technologies. In my previous job, we had windows servers running DHCP and Authentication for wired and wireless clients, so downtime had to be a minimal. We had redundant servers AND RAID technology (At least RAID 1 in many cases). Now that I made it halfway, this course is giving me more confidence every day in passing the Server+ exam. Thank you.

The class spends a lot of time going over material that is covered in CompTIA A+ and Network+; therefore, it is difficult to find what is the actual new material amongst the hours of redundant information. Being that CompTIA themselves recommend these two certs before attempting the Server+, I feel like anyone who is studying for their Server+ already knows most of this information. In addition, the slideshow presentation is okay, but could be improved. There is often stock video that plays while the presenter talks about a topic; I believe it would be more beneficial to actually show photos/video of what is being discussed during these moments. As a positive, the presenter is probably the most enthusiastic presenter I've ever heard in an I.T. cert video course, and he speaks in a clear, American Standard dialect. Lastly, the creator does not seem to be engaged in answering students' questions in the Udemy Q&A section.

The course is okay, I'd say it includes a bunch of un-needed information and is far longer than necessary, but what it covers seems to be accurate. The practice test at the end is a JOKE. There are numerous questions with completely incorrect answers. It's like no one who actually knows the subject matter was asked to review the test.

So far in this course, it appears to be appropriately paced for my skillset. I lightly administer servers so some of the material is not new to me while other course material will surely be new for me.
