The explanations are terrible and the presenter never seems to have the right equipment around to properly demonstrate what he is trying to explain.

Good but I wish it had some written materials for the chapter, for example if he is gonna talk about electrical stuff then it would be nice to have some written notes at the end of chapter maybe just to include materials name, or any thing that is important.

Good audio info, but terrible visuals. Only one camera shot of the speaker talking. No cutaways or slides to show the different materials, tools or techniques that the instructor references. It’s clear too that there was no scripting or prep … he’s just speaking off the cuff with no pre-defined talking pts.

I love how in depth most parts where even when i felt they didn't need to be from prior knowledge. I still enjoyed the course overall and learned a lot.

I like the fact that he doesn’t assume that we know the “common sense” of the remodeling world and he takes the time to go over it all

A little basic so far, wish there were more camera changes and showed more shots of the actual tools instead of talking head.

I like how the teacher demonstrate each step by step project especially from building a wall to drywall, painting, wire installation, flooring, crown moulding, plumbing, electrical fixtures and so on. I gained knowledge I will have for the rest of my life.

This was an interesting course. I learnt many things i did not know and glad what i knew was just as right as he said and did. Thank you.

great course and extremely well presented. Liked the attention to details that were outlined. Would be good if he had more courses like this to other home improvement topics like building houses, foundations for houses, roofing etc. in short I highly recommend this course for individuals trying DIY home improvements. Electrical and flooring tutorial are excellent and so is the plumbing tutorial.

I'm giving this course a 5 star for what I've seen so far - I still have many more sections to watch. I've mainly concentrated on electrical because those are the types of home repairs I'm most interested in. The directions are very clear with a touch of humor thrown in - (every outlet I look at is now winking at me!) I have a much clearer understanding of the workings of electrical outlets, and feel more confident in making simple repairs. I look forward to watching some more of this course.
