In general, very good! One thing which threw me off during the quiz, which was not explained previously, was that he-heut and jee-ent/chee-ent can look different depending on the word. In the case of jee-ent/chee-ent, I am still not sure which one has a line through it, and which one has it on top.
It’s good course it is new for me..when I use in mobile voice quality is good rather then laptop voice quality so poor..
The instructor went a little fast over the reading section at the end. Would have like a bit slower, clearer pronunciation.
I found this lesson very useful. I especially liked that the course showed the handwriting steps. Thank you! I noticed that "g" sounds a bit more like "k" when it is the first letter, and "ch" sounds like "sh" at the beginning. "s" sounds like "t" at the end? Is it just me or is that something that happens all the time?
Super sencerely teacher with humurous jokes made me fall in love with this course, and I am sure it gives me the strong milestone I was looking for to kick off my korean career
Very well explained course, it’s easy to understand and the person who is teaching is very good, one can easily comprehend to what he is teaching, looking forward to more lessons
The teacher is good and thorough. I am hoping to be able to put some sentences together for speaking, not just reading
I find the videos pretty easy to understand… donno maybe m taking classes and completed A1 that’s why I have found this easy… still I can say that he did explained everything clearly and is understandable for the beginners also… Beginners will find little difficult to understand as so I did on my first class but trust me when you will watch this video for 2-3 times then you will completely understand the Hangul. His accent is understandable. He took the time to explain everything… not in a rush…I find this worth the amount and time.. I will definitely recommend this to others…:) :)
Sound is far too quiet: it doesn't do justice to what should be a good introductory lesson and it almost destroys confidence in persevering with this course.
This course provides a comprehensive learning of Korean from basic to advanced level. I enjoy doing the course so far a few months into it. I found the material useful for day-to-day korean use. The activities in each class are sufficient enough for you to practice. However, I do find some materials are outdated as this course was probably done a few years back. I had a few questions posted here but got very little response. The homework questions will have some mistakes from the instructor side. For a class that is selling online, i believe it is the instructors/course providers' responsibility to make sure no obvious mistakes are made and when get pointed out, they should fix it immediately so the customers don't get confused. Also, I noticed that the instructors are not as active here to answer questions as before. I see them being as not committing to provide a continuous enjoyable experience to their end customers. I understand that this class has been up for several years but since it is will profiting from its customers, the course providers still have a responsibility to maintain its question board. All in all, i don't regret my purchase but wish it could be better. thank you!
Generally this course is good, but there have been a few quizzes out of order, I.e. the quiz preceded the lesson. I also experienced a total breakdown of the app that forced me to delete it and reinstall and I still had to update and install that new version. Fortunately the website was still working, so I could continue my lessons. I think this course has been well worth the time and money. Some of the voice changes to “change “ characters in the stories sound silly and forced, but the content is good and presented in logical and clear ways. I have been studying Korean through other programs and feel this course has taught me more and tied it all together. All in all, a great course for all levels. So I can say a good effor t to the instructor, but I do not think it is enough to learn absolutely Korean.
The course instructor places great emphasis. Therefore, it is difficult to learn too much Korean in this course. I had a hard time learning Korean as I am a beginner and don't know any Korean before changing course. The course says it is absolutely suitable for beginners, but I really had a hard time learning Korean as the pace of the course is too fast. Also, the course structure is difficult as the teacher learns Hangul too fast and I don't understand. I don't think I can learn Korean from this course. It's a pity, but I understand that everyone has their own style. So my conclusion is that the course is not suitable for me, but I hope someone else finds it informative. Good luck, but I cannot recommend this Korean course highly enough.
The course does not suit me. First of all, the organization of the course is not good. Too many topics are covered and the course is not suitable for beginners. This is too difficult a level. Secondly, the ongoing Korean language is very fast. The teacher is a native speaker, so he doesn't explain much Korean. This is a serious disadvantage of the course. It is difficult to understand the teacher. So I hope the teacher can improve. Otherwise, unfortunately, I cannot recommend this course to anyone who is new to learning Korean.
The instructor is very good and teaches is a simple understanding way specially good for beginners like me, but i wish the volume could be a bit louder other than that i am really loving my decision in taking this course!!
I am having a lot of fun learning Korean Language. It was much better than what I expected and I really love the way Karam/Garam Sir teaches. Thank you.
