Complete Guide to Maschine MKII

I just completed the introduction for today, but so far it is really exciting to know that I am about to get into the detailed specifics of MKII

I'm feeling like I may be able actually grasp this. Rob has a clean, simple way about him that is so far inspiring.

The course is well structured, well written and well presented. Rob is very specific and considered with his explanations, and this allows the often complex concepts and procedures to be understood on a deep level. Recommended!

maybe its just me but it all seemed a little rushed, would be much better if the instructor took a little more time to explain thing rather than presuming we are all up to his level

This is a really good set of tutorials on how to use the Maschine software. Clear, good pace and engaging. When it comes to discussing the hardware, it is users of the Maschine mk2 that will benifit most and that's where I was somewhat disapointed. As a Maschine mikro mk2 owner I did hope to see more of this hardware integration (in addition to the big brother), but if your a Maschine Mikro mk2 owner the course is still definatey worth every penny. Thank You, highly recommended.

This course is fantastic!! I was so intimidated by my Maschine Mikro and had it sitting around for years before recently deciding to either sell it or just totally go for it...then I found this course. I appreciate the pace and depth of the instruction, even though it is not specifically for Mikro, I am still able to apply most everything he teaches to my hardware. I love that I can follow along with him while doing what he does and then rewinding/replaying if I missed something to get further clarification. After watching this course, I am confident enough now to utilize this awesome piece of hardware and software...I canʻt believe I waited this long! I do wish the bonus section on using Maschine in a DAW (like Logic) was a little more in depth, but overall it was helpful. All in all, I highly recommend this course!!

My goodness. At the time of this review, I'm only a handful of lectures in but I have to say how impressed I'm am with this course. It's THOROUGH, fellow groovemasters. Rob's a fantastic instructor -- deeply knowledgeable, speaks clearly, good delivery (no monotone), good video presentation, and covers most everything you'll want and need to know. Even these first few lessons, I imagined that I'd be left with a lot of questions but that's not the case. This is a true step-by-step tutorial. The use of the word "complete" in the title is no joke. This is a course you'll want to rewatch several times because it's so dense with content -- all easily digestable but there's just no way you can watch it once and remember everything. Rob demonstrates that Maschine has a lot of great features and sometimes multiple ways of doing things. He guides you around the interface and even explains what different settings within plugins/processors are for. Rob has all of the Maschine MKII variants plus Studio hardware on hand and is thoughtful enough to point out when there's differences in achieving settings that might not be obvious to, say, users of Mikro versus other units. And there's often video layering, so you can see how hardware manipulation triggers events within the software. He explains things in a logical order, too. In the beginning, you're getting an overview but even that is chock full of information. And you can see from the course outline that he later goes more in-depth on each of the topics he touches upon. In the "Course Content" section, most modules contain downloadable files that you can use to practice and apply what you're learning. As I've said, I just started the course so this is just a first impression but there's tremendous value here. If he released a companion reference book containing this course that I could keep cracked open while I work, I'd buy it without hesitation.

Great tutorial from Rob. Clear, concise instructions to get anyone set up on using Maschine. I will certainly be looking at more of his courses on Producertech.com

First class I've finished 100% and I loved it. Very easy to follow (though I had to review some of the more advanced tactics). And I even signed up for your other class on Maschine music theory (not available in Udemy). Wishlist for more courses = Hip Hop Beat Making (Flipping Chops) + Full Song Development (get out of loop mode)
