The course is not updated to the latest Django version. There are many things left out, so you can't make a fully functional project.

Best thing about this course is the number of topics covered. On the other hand, the material would be just as useful without audio. The instructor is really, really not good at explaining what he's doing. He'll explain things in the vaguest, most general terms imaginable. For example, "...we explicitly added that form to it." To what? Or "that's how you do that." Do what?

By far the best Django tutoral I have seen! Takes you very nicely through the very basics to the more complex ideas. The only thing is that its slghtly out of date, as its written for django 1.8, but you cna figure out the differences

When I read the description I thought the output would be "usable", to me usability includes ascetics. I stopped watching after 5 minutes when they told me that the sight would be "ugly" but functional.

The course material is absolutely excellent, but I think the pacing and teaching style could use some improvement. Overall, I would recommend this course to anyone that is trying to learn Django, but it falls short of 5-stars due to other great Udemy courses out there that set the bar really high.

Ich habe den Kurs "Try Django 1.9" kostenlos auf YouTube angesehen. Der ist für Anfänger ausführlich genug. Dieser kostenpflichtige Kurs hier erscheint mir für Anfänger zu schnell und an zahlreichen Stellen recht "huschig" (also ungenau um schnell zu sein). Und für einen Fortgeschrittenen ist es nicht optimal, weil man eben mit den Basics konfrontiert wird. Mal sehen, wie es weiter geht.

Good stuff -- first couple tries always take longer if you don't have much experience using a computer beyond a regular user. Spend the time researching your answers and eventually it gets easy and quicker. Now I can skip the first 10-20 lessons and I can guess whats wrong with my code. But I was really slow making progress when I started.

Now that Django 1.8 LTS is here, anyone who wants to build a web app should take this course. Justin put a lot of time and effort into this. Unlike other courses, Justin updates the content where others would charge for a new course. Take the class - worth every penny.

I took this course to build a website just like etsy or ebay. I messaged the instructor he wasnt able to help me. He gave me codes to work with they did not work. I told him the issue. He told me to check out his Youtube Channel. I did already and taken all of the courses. he told me too look at the Django site itself I did and still could help me. I needed his help. My project still isnt even finished. This course needs to be updated.

This is the best programing course for building real life applications to put out quickly. I have took other Python programing courses from other sources before, but there's no comparison. If your goal is to get your idea out quickly to start testing the market, then you should do what I did, sign-up for this course.
