What you will learn

This course will prepare the student for the CCENT and/or Isimulations of the CND1 (100-105) part of the certification exam.

Students will be able to configure routers and switches to prepare for the CCENT certification exam.

Students can use this Labs course as a supplement to practice for the simulation part of Cisco's new ICND1 (100-105)

This course is a hands-on practice Labs course to help the student prepare for real world scenarios.

Description

This CCNA R/S labs course which was originally for the old (200-120) & now for the NEW CCENT (100-105) Labs course is the most complete practice labs course for Cisco's old (200-120) & new certification exams.

Although this course was originally made for the old 200-120 certification, it is still relevant for the NEW CCENT / ICND1 (100-105) certification exam as well.

The old CCNA 200-120 is still about 70-80% relevant in the New CCNA 200-125 certification exam. And that is the reason that this LABS course was renamed to reflect that.

The course not only gets the student prepared for the new CCENT simulations, but gives the student more practice labs than what is covered in the certification exam.

This course is over 10+ hours long and it is a complete Hands-On lab course.

DISCLAIMER:     Please note that the simulators/emulators used in this course are not part of the course. It is the students responsibility to have these to practice with. The Cisco Packet Tracer and/or VIRAL (Virtual Internet Routing Lab) are Cisco proprietary software and can only be obtained through Cisco. It is up to each student to obtain the simulator/emulator of their choice to study along with this course.

In this course we will cover all the labs required to prepare you to practice and make sure you are prepared to tackle the simulation part of the CCENT certification exam.

Be aware that the for Cisco's new CCENT exam, the practice of simulations is extremely important and crucial to pass the certification. Therefore, this course will be prepared the student to be able to configure routers and switches by the time they complete this course.

This course is designed for the student to follow along with me as I explain the labs and the configurations.

My “Cisco CCNA for the 200-120 & now CCENT Labs" course is the gateway your success!

This course will enable you to overcome the barriers of the simulation part of the exam and give you the confidence needed to pass.

Remember that Cisco's new CCENT (100-105) certification exam is timed!

This course will make sure you can breeze through the configurations and simulations so you can have time to spare for other parts of the exam.

Also, please keep in mind, that when taking your cert, more than likely, you will have one or more simulations that have several parts to it...meaning, one question can be comprised of 2 or more parts, and all parts MUST be answered in order for you to get credit for that question.

Not answering one or more parts to any question will result in failing that question!!!

We definitely can't have that!

The difference between passing and failing may be just 1 point!

This is precisely why it is extremely important that you look at each question carefully and answer ALL parts of that question. Doing this will guarantee your success...and that's precisely why I am here...to make sure you have the tools to succeed!

As with all my courses, I prepare them carefully and specifically to ensure that you can pass Cisco's new CCENT (100-105) certification exam and join the IT and/or Networking professions with this most important cert.

Welcome to the CLUB!

~ Laz ;)

I could not have made it to receiving my certification without Laz. Thank you so much!!! I went from 0 to certified. Not only did I learn network concepts, Laz also provided encouragement to keep going and not give up. He truly cares for his students and it is seen in this videos. If you are anything like me and need all the help you can get with networking. I highly recommend Laz as an instructor.

So, Laz is giving great information for the CCNA. I only wish he would have split up the course for ICND1 and ICND2 for clarification.

Not well strauctured intructor. There are a lot of free online labs better than this. Update: now I have seen the whole course I had to lower my initial rating to one star! The tutor needs to add written steps and provide up-to-date PT i.e. Router switches names were incorret. The sound of the Intodusction and Summary of each chapter were not good! BTW. press Alt+D to fast forward time of the PT...you don't need to wait like the instructor did in his vidoes!

As i the course previous, Laz is great at explaining things so you can understand them. Always energetic (even when not feeling well). It's a pleasure to watch and listen to his lectures.

Low volume on intro slides. Normal volume on section slides. I would like to see 1080p resolution on the videos too. Other than that very understandable lessons!

Very knowledgeable instructor Labs are easy to follow along with One thing holds this class back and that is the unprofessional and unorganized way in which the Dropbox has been set up. I spent hours looking for the correct pkt file for the first lab section and I anticipate spending many more looking for later labs. Laz has said that this is because "If I gave you everything in a silver platter, where you did not have to think or troubleshoot for yourself, then, it would defeat the purpose of my teachings;" and "You will hit a brick wall if you expect an employer to have everything configured for you." While I respect the theory behind it, the question that prompted this was someone asking for better orginization on his dropbox so that we, students who have paid for his class can actually do the assignments. He is correct in saying that our employers will not have everything configured for us, however they will document which networks are which.

Let me start off by saying I really enjoy Lazaro and have used his CCNA videos, his videos are really helpful and deep. I would recommend his CCNA videos to someone looking for study aid. I really wanted to find this course useful but I didn't. The labs come in a zip file along with several other documents (word, text, etc.) and are in no order whatsoever. It has nothing telling you what order to do them in and has no information on what you are actually supposed to be doing in the labs. The videos included are no help either it's just Laz doing a lab that is not included in the course files.

After over 13 years of Military training, Laz's teaching styles remind me of the way my instructors conducted their classes. Clear and to the point instructions.

Great Stuff!!! Laz you the man!! I did my CCNA course about a year ago, but didn't have the networking background, the labs or the equipment. Now I do have my home lab and a great tutor. Awesome.

Great. Laz moves at a pretty quick pace. I understand a lot of what he is saying because I've played around with routers before, but if you haven't it can be a little intimidating.

This is my second course that I have done w/ LAZ. Have not taken CCNA yet, but will shortly! I really learned a lot from Laz and I enjoy how he trains. The best way for me to learn is RTR, and Laz understands that concept. Looking forward to investing even more in his courses!!!

The content is ok, but I got problem with the un-constant sound volume between one session to another sessions.

Very detailed as how to configure a Cisco switch. Keep in mind, that some of the examples are for newer equipment, I suppose, because some of the commands (i.e. config t) did not work on my 2960G. The instructor explained clearly that there may be differences as well as giving examples of both commands.
