Learn how to use Cinema 4D with After Effects

Description

This CINEMA 4D Lite training course from Infinite Skills teaches you the basic tools you will need to create 3D models in this version of CINEMA 4D. With this software, you will have the ability to create, import, and animate 3D content and render it within Adobe After Effects.

Once you have opened CINEMA 4D Lite from within After Effects, this course will show you how to set it up and take you through the user interface. You will then jump right into learning how to add and adjust basic, parametric, and 3D objects such as a cube or sphere. This video based training course will teach you how to use Splines and the NURBS component to create 3D objects. From there, Jeff will demonstrate how to create, edit, and apply materials to objects. You will create reflective surfaces using Reflection and Environment channels. This training course also shows you how to organize a CINEMA 4D project for further editing in After Effects.

Once you have completed this video based training course for CINEMA 4D Lite, you will understand how to use the tools available to you for creating, animating and rendering 3D models with this software. The Tutorial Files are not downloadable. I'm using After effects &C4D 2023 and these tutorials are for earlier versions. The tools, shortcuts and other attributes changed since this version. Very frustrating.

I am unable to download the course reference material. I notice that other students have also had this problem, but there are no replies from the instructor in the Q&A.

The resource files are out of date and won't download on newer machines, so I had to improvise which added a challenge to learning.

So far so good. In depth explanations, very clear and concise. Would be 5 stars if it was updated a little. Really needs uo Dating as things are quite different in some of the menus. But still coping. The Tutor is very VERY good with his explanations

Easy to understand, detailed, well organized and concise teacher. Exactly what you need if you have some experience with After Effects and want to start learning Cinema 4D! When you start Cinema 4D up for the first time its a little overwhelming This course is a perfect starting point. Bravo!

Completed the course. The course is very well laid out and the instructions are clear and comprehensive. I went from knowing nothing about Cinema 4D to having a very good foundation for further use. I have no complaints about the course, but Cinema 4D Lite seems to have changed some minor things in the latest versions, so it would be great to get some updated notes on that.

quite old as R19 is the current version and the videos are a little outdated. the theories are good even as they seem a little rushed [at least to my perspective].

Very thoughtful laid-out course, explaining and demonstrating Cinema 4D Lite in a pleasant way. Only slight comment is, that the teacher used an older version of Cinema4D Lite than the current one. Some (advanced) things didn't completely match up. But overall, a great course!

It's pretty basic stuff - but given the steep learning curve, understandable. I think more hands on projects that involved building assets for AE via C4D would have been better.

Overall I was very pleased with this course. It was one of the better online video courses I have done. My only criticism: a video file necessary for the tutorials was missing in the earlier part. Also, the software version in the course is slightly out of date. Most of the time this didn't matter, but there were a 2 or 3 places where I could not follow along with the instructions in the video.

Jeff Sengstack makes learning very easy. His descriptions of concepts are clear and very understandable. I downgraded my rating because none of my questions were answered while I was going through the course.

I really liked the intstructor and his way to speak clearly and slowly. The topics were arranged logically and the sections proceeded in an order that made sense. I found useful to learn about the workarounds of some features that are missing in the Lite version.
