It delivered as I expected and I like the style. I feel that you speak very slowly which is good when I have the patience. It didn't really bothered me since I can speed up when I'm feeling inpatient. I got really useful information out of this and going to keep exploring more. Thank you.

Everything was great. The last video shows a black screen for several minutes before playing the conclusion clip again.

Very good course. Good pace. Instructor was easy to understand and spoke in an even cadence. Instructor also went into enough detail to explain the topics.

This course was really concise and the instructor has done a great job in structuring it so well. I wish that the instructor should add another course covering some advanced topics of Chef in the same way. One thing which can be revamped is setting up VM using cloud9 since those instructions are not valid anymore. I had created a VM using AWS and started using it and followed by using an Amazon Linux server.

This is a good course. It does need to be updated to note that cloud9 is now part of AWS and some of the instructions don't work there. I was able to execute the labs in a ubuntu session running under Windows WSL which worked though I did have to figure out the parameters. I got part way on cloud9 on AWS but was not able to finish.

The course needs to be updated to account for Cloud9 now being part of AWS, but other than that, this was a really great course! Very easy to follow, and concepts were explained well. The quizzes to check for understanding were helpful as well.

After taking the LinuxAcademy Basic Chef Fluency Badge course, I felt I am missing the foundational concepts of Chef. I originally thought that this course would go a little further, regarding Chef Automate, and Chef Server. But I was still not disappointed because I learned something from this course. Highly recommended!

Very well organized with introduction to new concepts, then good, clear explanations in the lecture, and excellent examples within the labs. The clarifications within the labs is also very clear. Great course for those like me who are new to Chef.

The instructor does know what he is talking about and what he goes over he does well. However, I believe that there could be ore added to the course to add more value. This being said, you can not argue with the price for value.

It was a good course. I wish that you would have shown more example or labs on configuring systems as Chef is a Configuration Management tool. I was hoping to see more of that.

Good material - I would prefer going a bit more advanced. Does waste a bit of time at start of course stating and restating obvious and addressing logistics, and not getting to core of chef training quick enough.

Excellent course! Concise and clear, straight to the point giving a great fundamental understanding of Chef. My only suggestion would be maybe to introduce further use cases - even just as a summary (5 minute video or less); Deploying Nginx and managing its config, Custom apps, Docker!

Really awesome intro course. I really appreciate the detail to terminology and the realistic use-cases. This helped clear up common misconceptions about the name of the resource block and helps to demonstrate the robust idempotent possibilities in chef. Would love to see more advanced topics like proper structure of dependent chef cookbooks and setting up the chef server correctly (including environments and roles) .
