I’m so convinced of this, I’ll give you a no-questions asked refund if you’re not satisfied.
Clear, Easy to Understand Lessons
Crystal clear in fact. Learning character drawing and how to draw people effectively means having information presented in a logical and coherent way. The Character Academy Course is modular by design, easy to grasp, and allows you to learn in a well paced, structured way. Engage in the course chronologically, then revise each module at your leisure. Grasp concepts, such as how to draw lips, eyes, faces, and more, faster than you ever have before – there’s no fluff here.
Assignments that are Rewarding
Bridging the gap between theory and practice, each module’s assignments have been designed to both reinforce theory, and feel rewarding. I’ve taken the core of the theory, and purpose built each assignment to help you rapidly progress, and you’ll see the difference in your own work almost immediately. Art is about doing, so let’s get started- let’s draw something awesome!
What's Your Style?

What are Students Saying about the Course?
"Probably the best art course I've ever taken -- online or in college. Wonderfully presented, it helped me correct mistakes I'd been making that were really holding my artwork back. I've seen phenomenal progress after 30 days practice of the course material. Highly recommended."
Dan Rahmel ★★★★★
"Just a perfect 5 stars rating. It's really complete and filled with advice, theories and concrete examples. As he said, it's probably the last character drawing course you'll take. It's all I wanted. Thank you so much Scott Harris!"
Mario ★★★★★
"Amazing course. I haven't even started drawing yet because I'm in awe of how simple the instructor makes even the most complicated techniques look. At last, drawing like a pro is within my grasp! I also like the fact that the instructor allows me to just watch the first time through without worrying about drawing until I'm familiar with the concepts. My next time through the course, I'll be prepared and more confident than ever to begin drawing. Even so, I've already used some of the concepts in this course for a sketch here and there when I feel inspired to draw, and I can tell worlds of difference between my former drawings and newer ones. Laid back instructor, but very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this course."

Kenji Basic Workflow Example
I didn't learn much and I didn't help me at all I am still taking the course but so far it could definitely be better
I'm a few classes in and I can already tell that this is going to be a good course for me! Over the summer I tried to do 2 classes similar to this (one based on anatomy and another based on animals) and though i was able to get most of it done, I feel like I still needed work. With being in school comes a new challenge to try to fit this into my schedule, especially being a senior in high school. I think this course, with the short length that it is, will help me achieve what I want to place in my portfolio.
Currently on the workflow lesson right now I think Module 5? But, overall I feel this has really improved my understanding of character development and what it means to create appealing character designs. The only thing I will say is that the anatomy portion of the lessons, at least at this point has been a little bit lackluster. I do understand that anatomy is something that as an artist we have to put in the effort to consistently work on it, but it is still an important part of the learning process and an important part of the development of characters. I would have liked a little bit more of those specifics on anatomy by this module. I will update this at the end of the whole course though! Still an extremely great experience thus far.
He's really making it stand out to me. He is very clear and is very concise. I'm lovin' it right now. I only expect it to get better at this point.
ja, ich habe bereits schon Erfahrung. aber es wird viel angesprochen, was ich noch nie in dieser Sichtweise gesehen habe.
I have tried lots of other sights but i never learn a thing but hear i'm learning something like shapes 3d or 2d detail or even form.
I’ve enjoyed the instructors approach to explaining both theory and practice. The course has been worthwhile, engaging, and easy to follow. Recommended.
I think it's good so far - I know absolutely nothing about drawing, so taking it right down to the fundamentals of art is crucial. But I also appreciate the 'Let's Get Messy' message. It takes a lot of the pressure off and lets me feel like I can learn in peace.
I think so far it's been very informative and the examples are clear to follow. While it's something I'm sure most people who are interested in art think about, it feels very different and wanting to be more mindful of just how much drafts or pieces are made up of shapes and not just detail and such. Kind of feels like cleaning dirty glasses I've been looking through
The course is excellent and I have learned a lot. I enjoyed how well done the presentations were and how clear the instructor was when giving advice. I highly recommend this course to anyone that has any desire to do art as the concepts and principles taught in the course are applicable to any medium.
This is going to be a great course for me, because Already the idea of trying to have perfect results is thrown out the window with "Let's Get Messy".. and that takes a lot of the weight off which allows ya to learn the fundamental theories.. and not focus on perfect lines.. so very happy im taking this course.
So far it is. Although your square stone block in Complete Character Drawing Course #5 is actually a diamond shape.
I had a great time with this course! Scott is a very clear and concise instructor. I felt guided very well by him. His thoughts were clear and organized and demonstrated very well. The way he has broken down his modules is done so with such care and of importance. I myself have an art degree so most of the content was an overview of things I've already learned about. So because of that I'd say this course is more for the beginner/intermediate crowd. But it was still a great course for me (who has stepped away from the field for a while) to get a refresher and wrap my mind back around the routines of drawing I have already built.
So far, this course feels pretty average and normal to me.It kinda feels like watching the teacher draw his model of our next invention in Engineering club at my school. It feels like any other drawing tutorial I've taken before.I think it's because this is just the beginning of the course.
It goes through knowledge that all artists should have, explaining it in a clear and concise way that anyone could understand. It feeds us information in the correct order, and honest, helpful guidance is clearly shown here. I think that any art blocked artist could go through this course and be like, "Wow, I should start drawing something." Simply stunning. This course has really helped me so far. Applause to the creator!
