I have been working for more than 18 years with Catia V5 in automotive engineering, racing and industrial design.

All the knowledge and experience that I gained helped me work with companies like Ferrari Formula One Team, Red Bull Racing, Jaguar Land Rover, Aston Martin and others.

In this course I will teach you everything I know about Catia V5 and everything you need, to be ready to work in a company.

I will show you all the commands and also how to use them in real design like you would be working on a job.

Catia V5 is easy to learn. Learning how to use it is the real secret. And its not that hard, I will show you.

You don’t need 30 hours to learn this software.

My videos are edited only with the information that you need with no intro and no waiting around.

You will also have my personal email where I will answer your questions and help you if you need it.

First we will build two assemblies from scratch where you will learn how to design in Catia V5.

Then you study the video library where all the commands and options will be explained in detail.

After you study the library there are other videos with tips and projects to consolidate your experience.

At the end I made some videos with information from all the industries I worked in and with tips.

This course will teach you Catia V5 and also how to use it in a business environment.

I will show you how I got my first job with no experience and how you can also do it.

Everything I teach comes from my practical experience only, no theories.

I think this course is really well done. The structure is great, because you are going through every part of CATIA V5 one by one. Also, the lecturer has really good advices about using this program and he gives some general tips about engineering as well. I find it really useful and it helped me familiarize with my curret job in CATIA V5.

One of the most thorough CAD courses I've taken, Alex has a lot of experience. Its well worth the time, specially getting into the last part which is the CV section. Alex is a great instructor and I hopte he can continue to share his knowledge in this sector because its not easy to develop great skills and changing from one company to another if you don't already have the skills.

The course is great no doubt but most of the time we are only following your instructions without knowing what the final output would be. It would be great if you can add the drawings for the corresponding lecture as resources so that we would understand and imagine what exactly are we doing it. Edit: No you take a command, draw something or perform an action and explain sometimes simultaneously what that particular command does. In a company if you are designing something usually it would be to achieve something or in relative to some other part for some desired function. I get that and that is what designers do but here we are learning/ in my case getting used to the commands again after a long hiatus in my core field. All I suggested was it would better to have a drawing/a rough sketch of what we are going to do so that we wont be sketching some random figure, trimming it, sketching on completely unrelated planes (with mugged up dimensions/you must be seeing a drawing somewhere). All said I do like the course and it was just a suggestion to include drawings for actual parts like connecting rods and etc. No need to take a personal dig. Maybe do that in your head like your designs.
