Yes It was. How the drawing process was explained is exactly how I used to draw as a child. I'm very excited to start drawing again.

Very intersting course. I hadn't realized at first how useful the given advice was. I'm a "I can't draw" person, but after taking this class, and trying for myself, I feel much more confident. Thank you!

I was expecting some more information like the way you hold pencil, etc. But i like the suggestion to draw everyday.

I haven't completed it, but am already losing the impetus to continue. The teacher has jumped between two different pieces of software to demonstration his drawings and neither seems to be working well for him, for whatever reason. If and when he sorts out exactly what he wants to say and how to present his ideas and drawings, I think this will be a fun course, but a lot of revision and planning is required to make it better and ensure that the material flows properly, and sequentially as a teaching / learning process. The narrative is, in place, more like stream of consciousness chatter than tuition with him berating himself for poor quality drawings and going back over what was said earlier as if it has just occurred to him. This could be quite a good course. Much better if he puts in more thought and does some in-depth planning prior to recording. It also needs a change of tools (mouse is not a good drawing implement), and a solid decision on software for each topic, or better yet, for the entire course. I may persevere, but so far it has been heavy going.

i love it lol its cute but im super advanced lol its its kinda boring for me but i dont have money to buy any advance ones rite now but its cool!

it's a nice course if you are starting to draw. Eric will give you some nice tips, but he don't teach so much technic. What is good, depending on what you expect of the course.

This course is for beginners or people who think they cant draw, so it is really basic and more for non artist people. Enjoyed every lecture. Tips and tricks are helpful. Instructor is motivating, funny and keeps telling how art is practice rather than talent. Instructor has told he will be adding more lectures in future so I am eagerly waiting for it. After taking this course I guarantee that you will never say that you can't draw.

In my opinion i think that the course is great because it involves people that don't have experience in drawing.

Now I am confident that I can draw... but I was confused at lecture 3, I rewind it and closed my eyes and suddenly I realized it was not a good idea.

A good part of the cheating is make your life easier by using advice of an experienced artist. Put your effort into where you get best reults and not where it does not really matter.

I am really enjoying this course it is simple and fun. I take a lot of courses and I needed one that just let me relax and play with the pencil. This is the right course for that. It is not my drawing style. I prefer a more realistic style but decided I needed a break from the heavy stuff and I found it in this course.

I felt like there wasn't enough actual instruction other than the "emotions" section. It was a lot of doodling by the instructor and just talking without explanation or teaching. I did like the experimentation with eyes concept and the emotions....other than that I didn't feel like I got enough direction or detail information on "how" to do cartoon drawing.

I was curious about the course. I have been drawing by cheating since I was a kid (many, many years ago), but this course was like a challenge. I started imitating the instructor's examples, using the software he recommended, and got drawing again!
